North Mountain Blade instantly became one of my favorite companies. I LOOOOVE the Chop 2 and can't wait to get the Ultem version. The Raccoon has become one of my most carried knives. They know how to sharpen a blade! Thanks for the awesome review, my friend 👊#staydeadly

Hate jimping…always make the finger hurt when working long with the blade and it’s a extra weakpoint

i think you would be pleased with THIS jimping.

the difference is that I am not a pocket knife guy. When I use a knife (e.g. hunting) then I will use it for hours at a time and then you really dont want jimping.
It often seems to me like a llittle very unnecessary extra that uninspired knife makers slap on their products. Seen a lot on china knives. But the rest of the blade looks good. Then again I prefer fixed always. Currently rocking a ug tools tiny

@@martinerhard8447 I can understand your point, I can say for me though, I do not see it as gimmicky. I think on things like the SOG seal, it's too much but on most knives I have handled it does have a function and is not uninspired. TH-camr @knives, i guess regularly uses knives for hours stress testing them for ergonomics and edge retention, and I assure you there are some with PRODOMINANT jimping that are very comfortable for an extended period. And I would think this is one of them. I may just have to buy him one to show that as truth.

I am telling you the truth. I may be motivated to sell this knife, but I assure you that I wouldn't bother saying these things if they weren't true! Same goes for any knife. Even if it's free, if I don't like it, I say so.

My sharpest knifes are a Rockstead Tei, a Sandrin Monza and a Chinese made Böker in damasteel.
