This was definitely one of the most creative Sonic videos I've seen so far. Well, it would be very interesting to see how it would be if one of the classic Sonic games were in RPG style, and you just chose one of the most perfect classic Sonic games to make an RPG. Congratulations James. It would be really interesting to see what Sonic 1 and Sonic 2 would look like in RPG style too, because supposedly these two Sonic games are easier (at least for me). But I loved the animation.
I think Sonic 3 (& Knuckles) is probably easiest for a Sonic RPG because it includes the fire shield and electric shield and bubble. If we keep the moves canon, then Sonic 1 and 2 would just have jump and roll (and spindash for Sonic 2).

My idea for a Sonic RPG: Each character has 4 moves that cost rings for use in battle, and they also act as HP. You can run around to collect Rings and attack the enemy. Badniks act like uncapturable Pokemon, and bosses act as Gym Leaders. You can also use a stored Monitor.
