Contemporary Bhutanese dance by RAPA, Bhutan Week in India 2018

Music from Bhutan is different from other countries. The performance group was from the Royal Academy of Performing Arts (RAPA), Bhutan. The RAPA is a government body that preserves and promotes traditional Bhutanese culture through music, dance and song and was founded in 1954 with the blessing of the Third Dragon King (Druk Gyalpo), Jigme Dorji Wangchuck.
The colourful team is performing for the Bhutan week in India to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of friendship relations between Bhutan and India from the 23rd till the 30th September 2018.
