Absolutely blissful! There is nothing more majestic than Kailash. Nothing!!! There are no superlatives that can justify the magnificence of this place. The energy in this place is palpable. One can feel it. The peace is so overwhelming that a person with the most crude mindset or an animal with the most limited cognizance will also be pacified here. There is just something that forgives everything; forgoes everything; just so overwhelming over this physical existence that it dominates the very existence through us. Once you go to Kailash, you never come back. You give yourself away and the person that comes back, is different. That identity is cleansed of any effect of the world and is rejuvenated in splendor of the divine. Om Namah Shivay!!!

This is the most beautiful documentary I've seen in my life! Will see it many more times. How all the five elements of nature blend seamlessly to create and set motion to life, this documentary is like a perfect blend of all the serene visuals, enchanting music, the beautiful people and their words, their experiences, their subtle and calm expressions.. and everything that I can just not put into words. For me, this is "the" life-changing video, and the more I see this, a lot of my fears, and mental blocks look so irrelevant. I am being drawn steadily to the Himalayas like I am just looking to know more and more about them everyday from over the past six months. From a few days back, all the thought-flow has stopped at Kailash and I don't have any urge to know anything else besides Kailash. It would be too ambitious or rather foolish to say, "Bingo! I've realized what I was looking for all these years - Mount Kailash, that's it!" As one of the wise people in the video said - you must get an invite from Kailash - you cannot just decide to go there like you plan your vacation. When one is ready, they would get a call, and they would "know" it - they don't have to desire it. All the while, the basis of yoga just kept ringing in my mind - Just let the spirit of life flow through you, experience life, it's ups and downs with all you are made up of, and then, gently let go. Why desire for moksha, isn't desiring moksha itself a "desire"?

Reena Beauty I wish China never took Tibet and respected it's sovereignty ,Kailash mt and Mansrover Hindi name when I was young I always thought this is part of India but it is very sad this country forcefully took this beautiful country claiming it's own with all the lies .poor people of Tibet lost their their culture away from them .

This is really beautiful. In the west and even in the east I feel that there is too much focus on the physical aspect of practice and energies and even too much emphasis on finding peace at a particular place. Yoga is useful up to a point to bring the awareness to the present moment and to help release any tensions. Ultimately though yoga means union with God/Self. What does this union mean? Were you ever seperate from the reality? If you dissolve personal belief in the mind/ego only reality is left. The fact that we believe we have a body is a mere assumption, if you trace the root of all thought back there is just pure consciousness with no attachment to the body because one understands that one is not the body or mind but only consciousness which you are never seperate from. It is absolute, it is the one thing that is constant and it has to be there in order to even see change. Enlightenment is when one stops identifying with the mind and body and stays as they are, as that consciousness and no "doing" practice can take you all the way because that requires action when no action is the natural state. Self enquiry into the nature of your fundamental being will dissolve the mind. Eternal peace dwells within the heart, in all beings.

This is amazing documentary. The truth is if u talk to, read the books or videos of the mountain climbers that tried to climb the kailash mountain their experience in a technical point of view. it's impossible to climb it no matter how best mountain climber u are, it all disappears no amount of experience and knowledge will help to climb it. The only way to achieve it is on the spiritual lvl. There is an unique high power of spirituality that exists there. How and why it's hard to explain unless u are a spiritual spirit. Skeptics can argue on it but one has to experience it personally.

This video is old as now(2023) Lhasa has become more modern than before and goods from all over China are delivered to Lhasa regularly, but it still remains its own culture, language and religion as a very special region :). I am looking forward to walking the mt Kailash in the near future.
Having done the Kora in 2006 I'm grateful for the opportunity. If you're not used to the altitude you will feel it especially if you walk Kailash on a pinched sciatic nerve like I did. It's a trip worth taking.
That long walk home in the afternoon was tiring for my seven-year-old body and I complained. God told me to be quiet and enjoy my alone time with Him. As we walked and talked with each other I discovered something important that I have always prized. I am always home. I am never lost. Go as far as I can go, I will always get home. I may get in trouble but I will never get lost. I am not a follower of Buddha but I enjoyed these pretty pictures and invite you to enjoy them also. I am home.

Reena Beauty I wish China never took Tibet and respected it's sovereignty ,Kailash mt and Mansrover Hindi name when I was young I always thought this is part of India but it is very sad this country forcefully took this beautiful country claiming it's own with all the lies .poor people of Tibet lost their their culture away from them .

This is really beautiful. In the west and even in the east I feel that there is too much focus on the physical aspect of practice and energies and even too much emphasis on finding peace at a particular place. Yoga is useful up to a point to bring the awareness to the present moment and to help release any tensions. Ultimately though yoga means union with God/Self. What does this union mean? Were you ever seperate from the reality? If you dissolve personal belief in the mind/ego only reality is left. The fact that we believe we have a body is a mere assumption, if you trace the root of all thought back there is just pure consciousness with no attachment to the body because one understands that one is not the body or mind but only consciousness which you are never seperate from. It is absolute, it is the one thing that is constant and it has to be there in order to even see change. Enlightenment is when one stops identifying with the mind and body and stays as they are, as that consciousness and no "doing" practice can take you all the way because that requires action when no action is the natural state. Self enquiry into the nature of your fundamental being will dissolve the mind. Eternal peace dwells within the heart, in all beings.
Kami yoga is not union of body with God. It's the union of body and mind. Only when both are in harmony can we attain peace.
Hands down one of the best documentaries I have watched....appreciate the effort that has gone into it.I have always had this inner call to see kailash with my naked eyes.. just hope mahadev grants me my wish 🙏🙏🙏

This is amazing documentary. The truth is if u talk to, read the books or videos of the mountain climbers that tried to climb the kailash mountain their experience in a technical point of view. it's impossible to climb it no matter how best mountain climber u are, it all disappears no amount of experience and knowledge will help to climb it. The only way to achieve it is on the spiritual lvl. There is an unique high power of spirituality that exists there. How and why it's hard to explain unless u are a spiritual spirit. Skeptics can argue on it but one has to experience it personally.

This video is old as now(2023) Lhasa has become more modern than before and goods from all over China are delivered to Lhasa regularly, but it still remains its own culture, language and religion as a very special region :). I am looking forward to walking the mt Kailash in the near future.

Having done the Kora in 2006 I'm grateful for the opportunity. If you're not used to the altitude you will feel it especially if you walk Kailash on a pinched sciatic nerve like I did. It's a trip worth taking.
That long walk home in the afternoon was tiring for my seven-year-old body and I complained. God told me to be quiet and enjoy my alone time with Him. As we walked and talked with each other I discovered something important that I have always prized. I am always home. I am never lost. Go as far as I can go, I will always get home. I may get in trouble but I will never get lost. I am not a follower of Buddha but I enjoyed these pretty pictures and invite you to enjoy them also. I am home.
