I watched a guy in Manchester practice in a billiard hall once. He was Irish. Can't remember his name, but he never missed a single ball. I watched him clear the table three times without missing. Apparently he was a minor professional who never made the telly because of nerves.

I watched from beginning to end, before reading the uploader's remarks, so I started thinking not his home, then wondered if it is private coaching or something and thought what a great life it would be to practice snooker, and having someone paying you for re-spotting the colours for you. Enjoyed and impressed by the clearance including the final red which was close to the tight to the top cushion. More impressed that Ronnie was potting balls oblivious to all the talking around him on the shots. Ronnie was in the zone. But that last black and "say hi"; "hi" made me think of movie Misery (1990). Sorry.
So just a total clearance with all pinks. As you do....

This is filmed at the Grove Snooker Academy in Essex. Ronnie practices there because his manager Django Fung owns the place.

I couldn't have told anyone a thing about Snooker, or Darts five years ago. Videos of a 9 darter by MVG and a 147 from Ronnie got me interested, and playing both. I was already decent at 9 ball, but couldn't throw a dart to save my life. It's years later and I'm still throwing 100+ darts a day and playing snooker a couple times a month. I know there is more to the games than these 2 players. Ones I admire as much as the two I mentioned. Still, they are to their sports what Tiger Woods was to golf. TH-cam brings the world closer. Often for the better.

I dont't think so. The cue's butt is a bit high and he doesn't cue straight like many other pros. But it's very well compensated.

secrets in the delivery, its very slow nearly a push, smooth acceleration, the white ball should feel soft, if it feels hard you are going in too fast.
fradaja that's correct. pulling cue slowly on last swing makes you control and deliver cue in straight line. I improved my game by only adopting this technique

looking at the way snooker players practice no wonder some would get depressed, I know I definitely would if I know the only way for me to make money is putting balls all day, this shouldn't be a full time job there is more to life than just putting, regardless how much you would make.

This is definitely in china, the camera person probably won some competition to watch ronnie practise or something like that, that's why ronnie seems ok for her to film him,

Misleading titles piss me off too; and i instantly noticed the point made by hybrid. Why would he need 2, maybe 3 tables?
It's not misleading. We make titles to our videos to attract the most people. He's practicing at a private place, a home, or private snooker club or whatever. It very well could have been his home, The poster even said he didn't know where it was at the time of posting, but it very well could have been at his home or someone elses. It would be misleading if the title said. Ronnie O'Sullivan getting drunk and paying strippers. lol. As long as the title has something to do with what the video is, and is not outrageously misleading then it's fine. Also, Having more than one table has many purposes. When you're entertaining, More than two people can play. Tables seem to play different sometimes, So if you're playing bad on one, then you can just switch to another. Also some give lessons, so having more tables helps with that also.
i don't think Ronnie would be training on a table smaller than the regular one. if anything he would go for the challenge and train on a larger one :D

@555pontifex im from n.ireland and no a fella called freddy cahoon and he's a 147 man and his son has hit 2 147's back 2 back 1 in practice before league match and 1 in the match he was in england but didnt make it cause of nerves maybe it was him? smashing player u call his son aaron.
