Hey, just noticed your comment. AT isn’t currently on the cards, provisionally thinking of the Slovenian Mountain Trail for’23 and the Pyrenean High Route for’24. Can’t do longer trails at the moment as the GF won’t be happy. Currently making the video for the PCT, so watch this space. Enjoy your AT and your triple😊
I will keep an eye out. Looking forward to seeing it. One of the things I enjoy most about hiking these trails is meeting people and talking to them about their lives and professions. I remember some of the conversations about electrical theory with you. Im still in contact with some close friends from the trail but I havent been on social media. I got married recently and we have been working on building a house for a couple years now. She wants to go on a thru hike as much as I do so its just a matter of time now, but everythings so expensive now I wish we had met earlier and had a place already but hopeful that when we get there it will help open up the door to more time spent travelling. Much respect to you and hopefully we get over there someday.

Javelin, this was a fantastic trip video of the CDT. I love the music that you added. When I heard the queen song at the end, I was just amazed. That is the song I use to invigorate me when I’m climbing. Once again, this was a fantastic video and a great finish especially.
Really glad you liked it, don’t stop me now is also my running song. On the last few days of a trek in Sweden, so will have another video on a few weeks time

Oh wow!!! Dan Stenziano and Mudslide too? WOW!!!! these are people I want to meet in person. This is awesome. What was it like hiking with Dan and Mudslide? I like Dan's High Sierra Route trip, that was awesome, so was his CDT.
@@jungleperry Thru hiking is a perfect space where everyone tries to be the best example of humankind, more so on the CDT than any other trail IMHO, including Dan & Mudslide. Did the PCT this year, you come across so so many people...all beautiful. Video is in the works.
@@_javelin Had one of these beauties try climbing into my tent a couple of weeks ago on the Pinhoti trail in Alabama ,Had to remember the riddle i was told as a child on how to differentiate between the two. “Yellow on black venom lack (king snake) red on yellow will kill a fellow’’ (coral snake) still gave me pause … Great video so enjoyed it.

at 14:22 you say it's a coral snake, but it looks like the red and black stripes are touching, thus it's a king snake .
