The meeting was SO beautiful! Just went to see him in Seatlle. When sining, "Allelujah" I am convicned I heard angels singing with us at one point. Got a Holy Ghost shiver and started to cry. On many songs, you can barely sing, because You are breaking down, melting down in the Presence of the Lord. Ah, it's SO precious to be in such an anointing! Just being in that Presence, whether healing mainifests or not, you are SO blessed!!!

And, now, he has announced, he will no longer take $1 of ministry money for his personal life (though the Bible says the minister should live off the money he makes from preaching the Gospel). Benny will live off book sales, etc. from now on. Every ministry $ will really go to spreading the Gospel! PRAISE THE LORD!!! for this kind of integrity!

I began to wonder, had I been there too, whether those nice "spiritual" feels could still be experienced. God would still be there: "underneath are the Everlasting Arms"! But it would not be by nice feelings for me to know Him there.
"Jesus makes Benny whole", "He is all Benny needs"? But Benny also said, at a televised interview, that without a private jet to travel in and those luxurious hotel suites to stay in, "I will just wear out"!
We experience only that which impinges on our consciousness. It's up to us to get educated and thus enabled to interpret accurately impressions on our consciousness. Benny and others want you to see those fallings and tongue utterances, etc. as God's impressing on us. But you are responsible for judging whether he is leading you correctly.
I personally know someone, now styled a faith-healer in a mega-church, who even before his conversion to Christianity already had abnormal psychic experiences. Well, he carried that into his "Christianity", joined "birds of the same feathers", probably got his psychic abnormality enhanced thereby, clothed in "christian" verbage, and he is now, somewhat like Benny, reverenced as some prophet.
I had a friend who was psychotic of a more extreme case. One day he was "felled by the spirit" at a Methodist prayer meeting, and the pastor wisely sent him to our psychiatric hospital. He went through to near middle age thinking and acting as some "prophet", and one day he jumped from a tall building. There gradations of similar psychosis, and many here, perhaps also Benny, show less severe symptoms, and somewhat like my friend feel "blessed" in such ways as seen here.
"Jesus's presence makes them whole"??? But they surely aren't "whole", but seem at some stage of emotional imbalance, mindlessly being swirled about, made to repeat chants called "praises", etc. Only Benny and his stage helpers know what is going on and what they are doing! They are in control (they haven't forgotten the offering bags!), inducing the feelings, while all others are entranced.
My concern is that many there, who obviously are sincere seekers of God, are being diverted into some cheap, emotional substitute, manipulated, consciously or unconsciously by Benny and his team. Compared to the hyperactive emotionalism and silly showmanship of it all, Benny's "sermons" are really anti-climatic, naive, ill-informed and uneducated. And he doesn't seem even convinced of them himself, more like slowly trying to remember the rehearsed. "By their fruits you shall know them" (Jesus).
Did not Jesus tell us "not to indulge in vain repetitions like the heathens do", and to pray instead meaningfully in that simple "Lord's prayer"? All that chanting of "Jesus, Jesus...", and the hypnotic effect, etc, seem too much like the way some mediums shake their heads to some striking of gongs long enough to induce a trance state. Then they begin to also "speak in tongues", uttering cures and prophecies to people who pay money to the associated village temples for help and guidance!
