In terms of handgun ammo spawning if you have any weapon other than a pistol or grenades the game caps your ammo at 70 rounds. If your only gun is a pistol the game gives you a lot of handgun ammo. Also as long as you dont have another gun it wont rng drop any other ammo type. Kinda cool the game knows youre doing a handgun only run and will give more ammo because of it
@@datjackson2714 tmp ammo is usually placed in static locations and also has an ammo cap. Funny enough the magnum doesnt have an ammo cap, meaning the player can whore a ton of magnum ammo. Same with the rifle ammo
@@datjackson2714 you would probably have to new game plus starting withbthe bolt action rifle and a full case of ammo but i bet it could be acomplished based on the sheer damage of the bolt action rifle but idk. Ive never done a rifle only run. I might boot up my save with a case full of magnum ammo though and do a magnum only run 😂

Me and my buddy did a challenge for our first playthrough in years if someone is using a weapon and it stays in their inventory the other person couldn't use it. I won based on a point system that was a score of 14-5 based on sub chapters and end game results

Casually or as a speedrun? If it's casual you can easily cheese the room by quickly killing 1 or 2 enemies with the rifle, then leaving the room and reentering. The enemies you killed will be gone and everyone else will have reset their position. Repeat until it's clear.

I appreciate how much they thought about it, even though tmo ammo spawns when I didn't have one, I never saw mine launcher ammo until I bought it
