Jerad, can you do a video about stones? With all the different stones out there it would be helpful, I think, to know what's good and what isn't.

Utility knifes aren't ment to be sharp due to the way the egde is shaped makes it a better wedge thus if kept very sharp it will quickly dull and actually damage the blade. A knife with a edge style for extremely sharp edges is a French chefs knife, though most manufactured knifes are missing the edge style.

@@gamersland2557 so u mean no need to sharp these knives man what r u talking so what is the meaning of buying these expensive knives if they r going to b damage that easy

    • @gamersland2557

@@sufimaya7223 What a more expensive Knife has is, Better steel, a good edge style for it purpose, and generally better craftsmanship. Most cheaper knifes have a straight edge style which is a jack of all trades, real chef knives have a concave edge style which gets sharp and can cut soft things easily, a good utility knife has a convex edge style which doesn't get as sharp yet is alot more durable. Search up knife edge styles if you want to learn more.

Spyderco is the best, We does a great job, Benchmade is ok but they have had issues in the past I'm hoping they have worked it out, seems like they are ok now, but you can't go wrong with Spyderco heat treatment. But we knives is doing the best ad far as overseas steels go, and reate, but we does a great job
