@@requiem9167 my favorite chimera three card combo is Swordknight, Tactics, and Crossout. Nothing beats taking three cards out of your opponent’s hand on turn 1
The Runick build is incredibly fun to play. There are only a few things that match the high of drawing 3 with Fountain, drawing 2 with Guardian Chimera, and going +2 off of Berfomet on your opponent’s turn. Adding 7 cards to hand is nuts I love that the Chimera cards encourage you to build a board and interact with your opponent instead of sitting on floodgates.
@@NotoriousYGO the main reason I'm intrigued by Chimera on this one is the internal synergies the chimera bit has and the fact the companion Illusion monsters stuff battle destruction, plus the revival effects on the fusions. though it is funny how a T1 chimera is net the same cards as a round of a fully set up fountain. I like Runick as a mill deck, but you can't play Runick pure these days without combo or floodgates. if i really wanted to combo, theres tons of archetypes that already do that without Runicks trade offs and much more resilience. the alternative is you have to resort to floods, likely heavier flooding to keep a fountain stable and to slow the game state enough to be able to go for the mill. there's just not enough Runick cards to stand on anymore to play a spirited race without one of the two methods.
Define viable. The deck is currently seeing some success at* B Tier events (200+ player regionals etc.) in both the OCG and TCG where snake eyes is the best deck. I know the banlist is a bit different from master duel, but that success leads me to believe the deck will be viable for Master Rank. Chimera won’t shake up the meta, but it doesn’t have to for me to consider it viable. Also, Resuce Ace received new support, but is still vulnerable to targeted negation like Veiler, Imperm, and Mourner because S:P Little Knight is not in the format and cannot tag Turbulance out. The Diabellstar stuff definitely helps R-Ace establish negation, Baronne or Savage, before the commit to Turbulance, but those plays aren’t always available and are still disrupt-able. Chimera should have enough non engine slots to combat the top decks in the format.
I play this archetype IRL and love it
As do I 😁 Based chimera brethren

Sick intro bro 🔥
Thank you 😬
so when i get the chimera fusion back from the graveyard i can use it again in the same turn?
Yes. You can use it again to perform a fusion summon.
You can only add it back to hand from GY once per turn though
Good vid I needed this XD
Glad I could provide! Any suggestions on what you’d like to see next?
Great video you deserve more views

Hope Illusion will be decent in rogue deck competitions, at least. I'm interested in playing them.
They should be good enough for the ranked ladder. They also have more support coming which is nice
The deck is not gonna be viable especially with snake eyes around and rescue ace about to be meta.

@@NotoriousYGO But I'll definitely play the floodgate variant.
