My favs are the custom made wood working projects. That tray idea is awesome. May see what we can do inside our bit bigger small RV. He can sell those. The fact its a reversible tray is amazing no one thought to make those.
I like these little tips and tricks so much. The hidden storage is a really good idea, as is the quick connect for propane. The refillable tanks are much more eco friendly than the small green disposables. It's amazing how something as simple as stick on paper or lights can make such a difference and really make a small space that much more inviting.
Great video, I think all trailers should have cupboard doors that open upward OR sliders. We are changing ours to open upward. We had a tiny leak (all fixed) one piece of prefab paneling had to be removed, long, narrow piece )93 inches by 8inches). I have thin facing board but was wandering what to put on it, paint, stain, or now maybe this peel and stick or wallpaper. Good to see another idea.
I've added the cargo nets to my T@G after watching your video. Now headed across the country to Brooklyn, NY where we will be leaving the trailer. The lock for the front bin where the propane and battery are kept is perfect. Headed out to Home Depot. Thanks as usual.
I was wondering if I could use my big old F150 (currently somewhere in the Puerto Rican bosque waiting for a brake job that will never come, lol) toolbox, excellent. The space issues between a Jeep AND teardrop- with plans for a rooftop tent- well.
Mandy - Can you provide details on the hardware and installation of the sliding diamond plate alde cover (idea #19 on this vlog) - or could you provide a contact for the designer of that idea? Thanks! We really appreciate your terrific videos!
Some great tips!!! Not a 'tiny trailer tip'; but wanted to mention if you put one of the pant legs at an angle before you roll them up, the 'loose' pant leg can then be turned inside out as a bag to keep the pants rolled and neat as surrounding clothes are pulled/moved ....
I love the cargo net idea to hold your clothes. Could you please tell me the width and size of the net? Or place a link as to where I may purchase one? I would really appreciate it. This was a great ideas video. Thank you for sharing.
I loved seeing people I met last year at UCamp again. You all have such good ideas. Looking forward to UCamp 2019. Maybe our mods might end up in a video some time. :)
Mandy, Do you think people like the clam shell outdoor kitchen better than the indoor kitchen? One day I hope to get a t@b but I can’t decide which one.
Wow, thats a really hard question! to be honest, it's really a matter of your personality. Some people love to be outside ALL the time - rain or shine - and others really prefer not to face the weather. It just depends on you! Both are usually very happy though :)
Hey Mandy, I really like the idea of the larger tongue box, really makes a lot of sense instead of multiple little boxes. Just some questions, what are the dimensions of the Lund you used, model number would be great also. Did you have to cut off the aluminum “U” bars on the rear for more clearance? Thanks and keep those video’s coming….
Great questions! The link below is to a page on my website that has links to all my addons... including the exact Lund box I bought :) As for the U-Bars... you don't HAVE to cut them of, the box fits with the bars, but I chose to because it allowed a little more room for a bike rack, and also a few inches of space on each side of the box.
The boondock editions of the campers come with a platform in the front that we mounted the toolbox to. You can buy the platform from nuCamp, it works great, but you could probably also find another way to mount.
A few things, great commercial for your supplier, lol. Also when adding toolboxes to the tongue do you wanna be careful that you don’t overload the tongue weight that is very important for safe towing! Two when you hook up an outside gas line quick connect like the last tip it’s very important that you build a strong steel protective structure around it so it doesn’t get knocked off going down the road. Great video travel safe friends.
Just saw the larger tongue box and we would love to purchase this for our camper! I would love to purchase this one but the link to your specs is expired...any way you could send that again? We are having trouble finding a box that's deep enough to hold the propane can you pleas send dimensions or the Amazon link, along with the plastic base tray? Thanks! Sheryl
Hi Mandy! I am interested in the Tab 320S, but want to know if it is possible to change out the cushions on the bed to install a Froli system and mattress. I thought I saw somewhere you had done that. Am I crazy?😜
You're not crazy! BUT... I did that in my T@G, where the bed is stationary and always flat. It would be complicated to do it in a T@B since the bed folds up to become the seats as well.
I really like your setup for the toolbox. I'm taking delivery of a 320 S Boondock this coming weekend I can make out the Lund brandname but there are so many options I can't definitively find the one you have - I would be interested to know the specific model .. was this one of the 60 inch or 56 inch models?
@@MandyLea : thanks so much for taking the time to reply.. and thanks for the link.. your videos where you show your mods and others mods.. really helpful and inspiring.
+Mandy Lea Photo, I love your travel videos! I have a question about Rocky...With 2 batteries and 2 propane tanks, how long can you be off grid? Also, how much solar you have to replenish your batteries. Wandering and wondering 😉
We have spent weeks off grid - water is really the limitation. But we have 2 6-gallon jugs that we simply take to the grocery store to refill and bring them back to refill our tanks. Sunny weather will recharge our batteries faster than we use them, but cloudy days can be hard!
Noticed your pants storage may be blocking your smoke detector. If it's photoelectric anything in front of it will definitely stop it from working, ionization detector might have a slower response time as well with something in front of it. Just a heads up :)
My favorite was the dust protector, the sliding door that keeps the dust from going in the vent. That was the best I think
My favs are the custom made wood working projects. That tray idea is awesome. May see what we can do inside our bit bigger small RV. He can sell those. The fact its a reversible tray is amazing no one thought to make those.
Yes, some people are so darn creative!
I just found this video…so this was your first unit….and now you have a 400….I like the modifications…great ideas!
Yes, I've had the tag, the tab 320 and the tab 400. Loved them all for different reasons!
2:30-3:00 perfect way to mount a drop down bunk bed too.. like in european semi trucks. 🤗.
Exactly!
I still enjoy watching your early videos, Mandy. Rocky is a great lookin teardrop! ~ Maria
Thanks! We enjoy going back to watch them too :) Good memories!
I liked #19. Very useful and well executed modification.
Thanks for watching!

Yes! I love sharing all the good ideas from other people... can't wait to do a few more!
Thanks Many, lots of great idea and inspiration!
Really cool mods 🤗 & customizations. 🤗.
Glad you like them!
I really like all that fellow T@B/T@G owners do to make their travel homes their own. Thank you.
Wish I was as ingenious and handy as some of these folks. Great video!
Me too!
LOVE this one! I’m about 3 weeks away from finishing a teardrop build and was tickled to see this one!
Awesome! You're so close! Check out the first two tip videos as well if you haven't seen them
I love seeing how people customize their trailers. Thanks to all of them, and you, Mandy, for sharing!
Love your channel! I am thinking about getting a transit connect (for towing and my office) with one of these cuties
That's awesome!! Go for it for sure!

For sure! Especially if its going to be stored for a bit, lock it up!
I'm trying to figure-out how to fit a spa pool in my teardrop 🤪
LOL! Let us know when you figure it out!!
Great video, None of us are as smart as all of us !
So much truth in this!
Great additions and modifications! Thank you for sharing!
Thanks for watchin!

Just updated the description with some new news.
Love this video !

Whoa! Great idea! Never thought of that, thanks!
Very cool ideas! The nuCamp group reminds me a lot of the Rpod people - all seem to come up with creative ideas and love to share them.
Yes, I'm sure it's very similar! We are really all one "big" tiny trailer community!
LOVE the space capsule! :D A lot of really good mods here, but the best thing you can do to your camper is make it uniquely YOURS!
Exactly! I agree 100%!
Love the tool box!
Great video Mandy. Thanks for sharing. Safe travels to you and Kendrick 👍.
Thanks for watching!
Can you give some more info about the heater in the shower please. That looks like a great idea
I love the cargo net idea to hold your clothes. Could you please tell me the width and size of the net? Or place a link as to where I may purchase one? I would really appreciate it. This was a great ideas video. Thank you for sharing.
good stuff as always safe travels to ya both

Maybe this year! Make sure to track me down :)

Hey ! Nice mods, tool box, sweet. the 2 LP tanks. Dual 6 volt batteries. And the 10 more gals of fresh water tank. That's what I need to do.. thanks...
You just named all my favorite things :)
Thanks for putting that together!!
Of course! Thanks for watching!

Oh ya... the link! mandyleaphoto.com/gearbox/
I wish tab 400 off road comes with toillete cassette instead 👍🏻
They just changed the 2021 320's to cassette toilets... maybe if its popular enough the 400 will be next!
absolutely. Boondock needs the cassette, it would be so much easier - I hate being a hostage to the dump station.
Thanks Mandy! We're ordering parts and we don't have the trailer yet!
Yay! Congratulations!
Thanks for this!! Love the toolbox idea!! How was it mounted? Looks like it is on some sort of stand or bracket.

Mandy Lea Photo well, at least I wasn’t imagining things! Lol
Thanks for clarifying!
Thanks Mandy, great video as always!
Thanks Griz! :)
I would like to know more about your bike rack.
Love your videos
Thank you!!!! Love your name :)
I really like your setup for the toolbox. I'm taking delivery of a 320 S Boondock this coming weekend

I've been thinking about buying a teardrop trailor. I would appreciate any advice you can give me.
Take a look at the other videos on my channel, I touch on a lot of subjects from practical to emotional :)
Gr8 tips Mandy! Thanks 4 sharing! 👍
Thanks!
Cool stuff. The folding bike does not belong in this video. The LED light strips at the end were very nice.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Great mods and video👍
Thanks! I can't take all the credit for the ideas, so many creative folks out there.
Excellent!! 😊😊
Omgosh I want a t@b so much
Me too!
Let me know if you ever have questions! They are wonderful!

Noticed your pants storage may be blocking your smoke detector. If it's photoelectric anything in front of it will definitely stop it from working, ionization detector might have a slower response time as well with something in front of it.
Just a heads up :)
You are very observant ;) But don't worry, I make sure not to block our "bacon detector" ;)
Are you hauling your camper with a Subaru Outback?
nope. We used to have a Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk (in this video). Now we have a Toyota Tacoma.
Thank you.
You're welcome!
The link to your mods is broken. What is the name and size of the aluminum? box? Thanks!
Please promote Leave No Trace principles. No gray water from outside showers dumped on the ground.
I wont do it, but I do hear it is legal and nothing wrong with it. But that is just what I read on youtube
mmm lovely 🤗.
Thank you 😊
Considering switch from full sized travel trailer to Teardrop like T@G Boondock Edge XL. What do folks do for Heat?
The Alde heater is fabulous.
A "TAB" in my future...!! 🙃😃👣
Yes! I guarantee you would not regret it!
Мэнди спасибо , очень интересно и познавательно!
Young lady u r adorable neat tips
Aw thank you so much
What the trialed with inside kitchen and you can stand up.
Yep!
Thank you so much maam
Thank you for watching :)
NICE!
Thanks Shelley!
Perfect!
Love
Thks! Pertinent info re: mods.
You have no bathroom?
Most T@Bs have a bathroom but you are correct, I chose the floor plan without a bathroom.
Allen Albertson camping toilet works great. No worries.
But good tips
Wish I could afford one. Anyone giving away one or willing to donate one.
