I’ve been appreciating all your videos lately. Thanks for the effort you put in. I’m usually hitting level 20 with around 22k-25k item level, which means I can’t run random dungeons until I grind up to 30k. I’ve done it by grinding out adventures and campaigns, but they always take quite a while. Do you have a “best” method you’d recommend to get those last 5-8k-ish ilevels, so that I can start building up those seals much sooner? Only getting (I think) 30 per day from skirmishes really slows you down.
If you do the adventures for the diamonds just go into the auction house and look for equipment. It's not that expensive. There's still stuff selling cheap from drops in the demon web pits and such. Low level enchantments are also affordable

Dont forget you insignias for mounts. You can raise item level a little from that plus companion gear too. Every 5 reaper queues you do you can get a legendary insignia.
@@kittywampusdrums Thanks! I've definitely been finding all the little ways I can boost the numbers with small purchases or specific quest lines and such. Still about 20k ilevels away from reapers, but I'm quite curious for them once I get there.

Don't sleep on the unfathomable void shirt and pants from TIC and the arena store. If you don't overcap your ratings with them they provide a ton of stats.
i am surprised you didn't mention the perfect weapon
was thinking the same thing ^^
They are actually not as good as the magma weapons. Less item level, same amount of stats and magma is up based (you are usually full hp) and perfect needs time.
And perfect are so much harder to get than magma
i like using the perfect weapons b/c i got them while mdwp was being run all the time. It literally took almost 100 runs to get them on 2 characters i used allot. I wouldn't recommend farming for them too hard now when the magma are available much more easily.
Technically squash soup replaces the perfect weapons (without the wait time) but eating 1 every time you die in endgame gets costly and I don't want to burn all my AD on stats i get free from perfect weapons. Similarly endgame boss fights take most people 8-12 minutes so the wait time on Perfect is tiny; it will be full by the second art call.
So, they are great, if you have them but a pain in the ass to get if you don't. It should also be noted that if you NEED to cap all your stats at 90% to complete endgame content then you are doing something very wrong. Feel free to stroke at 90 across the board but it's only for bragging rights.
@Aragon- blah. Mama give me nothing but IL. Do you need both +1 weapons from TIC DOM, or will warlocks and wizards be ok with just the +1 main hand?
Another great video, as always. Thank you. What is your opinion on using gear that provides extra damage vs. CA%, etc. For example, Lunar Halo that gives 11% CA when standing still for 6 seconds (which I do often), vs. Waywatchers Ring of Precision that gives 5% extra damage for encounter powers. I've been testing with ACT tracker and getting mixed results (very possibly I'm just not reading the data correctly or doing something wrong)
Extra damage its more effective and you will get better results if you have all your main stats at 90%. You can have that extra dmg from differentes ways.
Try to catch up mains stats at 90% first. And then you can get extra dmg from gear or companions (drizzt summoned, minsc and nw knight on equip powers).
Thats my advice. You can play whatever u want. Just dont forget to have fun!

Yeah, thanks for both the replies, it helped. To be transparent, I'm sitting at 101k IL with ratings at max (except for accuracy), but struggling to get % up. Also, I'm a Warlock Hellbringer so I understand that my damage expectations should be low at the moment. I did a lot more testing and found the Sharpboots helped with damage, but I am better off not using the Lunar ring with encounter damage boost.
Impossible for people without previous bis gear to get invite to dungeons for current bis gear. Meaning for every mod most people fall further and further behind.. This eliteism has resulted in most players has left and especially consoles are now a ghost towns. All alliances are dead!!!
Look for good people instead of good players, help them getting to your level while enjoying the game and then do the content with them
Yea I have been seeing the same issue for me as well. Currently switched 3 guilds in the past 3 months because they were all mostly dead and nobody would be willing to run even advanced dungeons. And queing up with random people ends with leavers and abandons...
I usually recruit players for my guild and I'll tell you something simple, most new players fail because they don't watch a video like this. For every new player I usually give some basic tips and recommend Aragon's video "zero to hero", after a few weeks I check on the player and you realize that they didn't watch the guide that would help them.

Dont believe all the hate and negativity from this post. Get in a guild and make friends and run the content together. We help players every day on PS console. Posts like this are hilarious! Just because you are having a bad time getting in groups to complete content doesn't mean thats the case for everyone. People who cant get in groups need to look in the mirror first because they are the ones usually holding themselves back.

I really want to do advanced LMD with my Ranger so I gotta host but I’m experienced in the master and advanced. They’ll take one look at my toon and think I don’t know what I’m doing. It’s just annoying since I mainly have lower iL gear on that character 😢
If only they could fix the queue issues. Every day, I queue up for Master Mdom dungeon, but halfway through, people just leave. Today, I queued for over three hours and finally got into the dungeon, and the same thing happened yesterday in Mdwp. people left halfway through both times. For the past month, I haven't been able to complete a single Master dungeon, leaving me without the latest gear. They should set a penalty if you drop out.
I'm in xWantedx but there's either gate keepers or wrong time of the day, It's Freaking soul destroying
Don’t queue for any content outside of your random queues. People host private parties, in protecters enclave, to run the master dungeons.

@@Aragon- I asked because I have those weapons on my 3 mains, don't want to buy magma for them all. But the power bonus could be feasible with then healers then, in low groups

You must be playing a different game than I am because it doesn’t seem like there are the same amount of players in the game as there once was. Think the developers followed the World of Warcraft model and the game is a dying star now.

This is totally inaccurate because since the player base is so low, it's nearly impossible for someone to carry you in advanced or master LOTMD to get gear level 3000. The only realistic option is to aim for campaign gear. Seals and other gears are almost useless at this stage. For a new player, this video is not an accurate reflection of the reality of the game.
You shouldn't be getting carried there. Get good and play properly
How come you didn't mention the prefect weapons?
Because...at least from what I've heard, those weapons are harder to get then the Magma Weapons supposedly. The Magma Weapons have higher item level and gives stats based on how full your HP is compared to the Perfect Weapons needing time in combat to build stats.

Perfect weapons need a little RNGesus luck, but they're easier to get than MDOM weapons, though 🤣🤣

I don't comprehend why Aragon keeps putting the rusted iron leggings in his builds. The iron leggings are for SOLO/non-qued play, not for ques. What healer in their right minds wants to fight a squishy dps for top healer because they have to keep hitting the healthstone? Endgame healers can definitely out heal the negative incoming healing from the iron leggings, but good luck getting picked for a que while you're wearing them....
Why is Gear an issue for anyone? Most BIS gear equip bonuses come straight out of Dragonslayer. Im sorry but if you cant invest $25 in the game you want to play then you dont deserve to be invited into Advanced content. $20 of zen gets Dragonslayer bought out get chest piece. $5 you get 2-3 of the dragon parts packs and then BAM you have BIS 1 chest, 1 helm, 1 ring to rule them all and in the darkness BIND them. Anyway get good and stop crying people about no one invites you blah blah. Invest in your shit and youll get invites.
