Jasmine, your positive energy and wonderful personality are truly admirable. I have never traveled abroad before, but your videos have inspired me to explore new places. I am planning a trip to Istanbul next March, where I will meet my future husband. Initially, I was apprehensive about traveling abroad, but your videos have helped alleviate my concerns. Thank you for sharing your experiences and making the world seem less daunting. ❤🎉 By the way, thank you for the information on hair and nail care. As well as the many different restaurants! You're amazing!!
Hair in Africa is so inexpensive. We got our hair, nails and makeup for my friends 3 weddings and each time is was $10pp. I am Australian and my friend from Congo invited for her weddings. We were often in in the suburbs of Kigali or Kampala or rural towns so that hadn’t done straight blonde hair. One hair stylist walked passed and rubbed my hair, I think she was fascinated to see what it felt like, it was cute and funny. I currently pay for tuition for two teenage girls in Rwanda to learn hairdressing, it was arranged through the Pastor who married my friend at her church wedding. Hairdressing in Africa is a way for financial independence for women. I feel very honoured to be included in my friends family and world. Her name is Grace and she shows me grace x
This is what BP have to face on a regular basis, in US and foreign countries where BP are rare. Thankfully with SM the hair touching without permission has lessened but it’s still very prevalent in schools, workplaces, other public spaces, etc. I was in Sally’s recently and the worker touched and tugged on my hair, giving it a wig test I guess, but yeah, it’s not a wig. Probably should’ve back handed her but was just shocked into silence at the audacity.
