Me and a buddy did the White Rim trail in about 10 hours including doing Potash Trail that T's into Shafer Trail near the switch backs. Didnt get back to camp just outside of Moab until just after midnight
@@KiwiGrom planning on going back the second to last week of April with some friends and family using my 95 Chevy Suburban and bring a couple ATVS and my Grom along for 5 or 6 days at Moab. Planning on camping on White Rim trail where you did to watch the sun rise on my birthday which is the 23rd
Thanks Darrin. I couldn't find software to automate it how I wanted. It was a bit of a mission using Adobe After Effects. I started with this tutorial as a guide th-cam.com/video/OkBY-Tg-OwI/w-d-xo.html and I used our recorded GPX tracks from the trip to create the path. I have recently purchased aescripts.com/geolayers/ makes everything so much easier, but is pretty costly. Good luck.
I can’t remember if you answered this question on a previous video or not. What video editing software are you using to create the map sequence? I’ve been looking for something like this forever.

There is another option. Check out Google Earth Studio (www.google.com/earth/studio/). You may have to request access (takes a few days). From playing with it and the previews on TH-cam I think it will be the go-to map tool in the future, wasn't quite what I needed, but is amazing.

awesome stuff, but I think I would want a quality 250cc dual sport for the minimum on this trail, but also not too big either
