It’s so true about what people like Tyler say about transitioning. My brother passed away two months ago today. He was the closest person to me and he came to me the day after his passing. The energy was complete and total light and joy and peace. It really helped me to know that my brother on the other side was truly happy. His spirit took the time to make me know everything was ok. We also did not want to do an autopsy after his passing as he had a double transplant 6 months before his death and we didn’t want to do that to the body and it was really bothering me that I didn’t know the cause exactly but he let me know that I already knew. Although I have lost others losing my brother is surreal. I don’t think I will ever feel like he is gone. Great loss is hard to believe. I can’t tell you how much it meant to me that my brother came to me through spirit even in the afterlife he still took care of me❤
That's beautiful... my understanding is that we are energy, and energy never dies, it just transitions. So we are really eternal. It can be hard when our loved ones transition from the physical back to spirit because we can no longer relate to them in the way we are used to, with our physical senses (hearing, touch, sight, etc) and so it feels like a loss, and it is. Though they continue to exist, just on a different plane. And they can come through in different ways... you might get a thought or memory from them, you might smell something that reminds you of them, or you might hear a phrase or song lyric that makes you think of them. They can even come through in dreams. You may even feel their presence or receive telepathic messages. And you'll just know it's them.

And I slowly walked over with my drink in hand (water) and said “hi Alexis!” She turned and said “hi there, you’re too beautiful.. nope!” And walked away. I was laughing so hard, I was like ok I’ll take the compliment I guess. And she ran off. She seemed to be funny in her way comedian. 🙏🏼 May she rest in peace.

The energy was complete and total light and joy and peace. It really helped me to know that my brother on the other side was truly happy. His spirit took the time to make me know everything was ok. We also did not want to do an autopsy after his passing as he had a double transplant 6 months before his death and we didn’t want to do that to the body and it was really bothering me that I didn’t know the cause exactly but he let me know that I already knew. Although I have lost others losing my brother is surreal. I don’t think I will ever feel like he is gone. Great loss is hard to believe. I can’t tell you how much it meant to me that my brother came to me through spirit even in the afterlife he still took care of me❤

That's beautiful... my understanding is that we are energy, and energy never dies, it just transitions. So we are really eternal. It can be hard when our loved ones transition from the physical back to spirit because we can no longer relate to them in the way we are used to, with our physical senses (hearing, touch, sight, etc) and so it feels like a loss, and it is.
Though they continue to exist, just on a different plane. And they can come through in different ways... you might get a thought or memory from them, you might smell something that reminds you of them, or you might hear a phrase or song lyric that makes you think of them. They can even come through in dreams. You may even feel their presence or receive telepathic messages. And you'll just know it's them.

Alexis was such an amazing artist. I met Alexis in the early 2000s at a dinner party at 360, I think it was called???? She was a close friend of my uncle’s. She lived in his house before she passed. Alexis was not in drag and hadn’t transitioned when I met them… the MOST beautiful man I had ever seen!!! I remember those lips and that smile 😮 I couldn’t even speak when introduced. Beautiful as a man; beautiful as a woman. Beautiful as a person. 🕊️🕊️🕊️

My sister passed last year at 40. And was a cancer like Alexis. Lots of similarities esp with the toe rings literally ♥️ so this made me cry so much because I want just a chance to get the same closure the siblings got. I did meet Alexis once at a concert in Hollywood. I saw her fixing her make up at a large mirror at the corner of the dark lobby. And I slowly walked over with my drink in hand (water) and said “hi Alexis!” She turned and said “hi there, you’re too beautiful.. nope!” And walked away. I was laughing so hard, I was like ok I’ll take the compliment I guess. And she ran off. She seemed to be funny in her way comedian. 🙏🏼 May she rest in peace.
