Asking her to go to 'fun places' is redundant, because as soon as you are asking your crush to go out you are already openly admitting that you like her, which means if the feelings aren't returned, she will just decline your invitation. You need to know that she likes you back first before you ask her out, especially if she is a co-worker, as things would be uncomfortable after a rejection.
