I make House, EDM, Techno type stuff and most of this applies to my world as well which just confirms your point about genre exploration. For me the biggest point you made is about saving your custom presets. In Ableton it's Instrument Racks and it's a life saver. Save in the VST as well for double flexibility. Nice video 👍
hey man thanks for your videos, im new to producing and i have so many people loving my beats and music, i cant wait to get it on the internet so im so glad to watch your videos
As a boom bap producer, my biggest concern is that I don’t have enough going on in my beats. I’m working on adding counter Melodies so the same 4 bar loop doesn’t play throughout the song. Dope video.
Not shitting on you love your content. But I'm amazed how much I hear those same three chords The biggest thing I can take from that is simple is gold. If you fuck with something fuck with it
thank you for doing this, these are very helpful and important tips for beginners as it would have been useful to me about 2 years ago.... (all of these on my own experience takes a lot of time and mistakes to learn by myself )
Thank you for sharing these gems! Def agree with you! Especially with the remaking beats thing and comparing to reference songs! I fee like remaking beats really stepped my game up. Two years ago i tried to remake Beautiful by Eminem, i didnt really manage to do so, but still i improved. Now few days ago someone asked me for a custom beat and the reference was Beautiful again! So my second try now worked really well, the rapper was super satisfied with the outcome, and me too :) Ofc i had to put in the work but im pretty sure i benefited from tryin to remake this beat before!
Have you ever had trouble getting collabs on a loop with a sample in it that wasn’t your sample? Like is Splice free game when it comes to pitching loops to bigger producers, so long as you make it your own?
I thought it'll be something clickbaiting and time worthless, but this video actually has a good and useful peace of information, thank you for this one
Some great pieces of advice… I already use a few but this vid gave me some validation and well needed reminders to be more organised… Props to you. Kxvi 🙌🏾
Depends on the guy bro. For example if you are sending to a Loopmaker you can send starters. If you are sending it to producers go for loops and if u wanna send beats send em to artists.
@@chrisval8268 It depends on the the artist's style too. For eg, If one likes Synth sounds and another one likes dark clean beats, you cant send em the same beat (:
Question - I'm about to start releasing my stuff and i was wondering how exactly do i find my niche? ive been making music for a while and i dont really have a favourite genere, i love rnb, soul, trap to some extent, boom bap, lofi, literally everything (thats on the hip hop side of things) now i have some beats rn and some of them are in the darkish summer walker type beats but as much as i like it i dont really want to stick to it forever should i keep looking and searching or release the beats i already have and continue with this path?

Dope Chanel ❤
It would be the sh!t if everyone gave the bass midi with loops 💯
🔥🔥🔥🔥
what is that string swell sound at 7:14?
Your loops are 10X times better than top producers.
my man! thank you
7:17 how do you do that FL Studio? Does FL have polyphonic??
I learn more in this from school lol 😂
how do I download music to put into my daw?
hey idk if you'll see this but are the samples in your packs completely royalty free/ cleared?
Does tip 1 matter as much if you provide stems with your loop?
Yo, I have a question about sending beats to other people. Do I send everyone the same beats/loops/starters or do I send each person a different one??
Depends on the guy bro. For example if you are sending to a Loopmaker you can send starters. If you are sending it to producers go for loops and if u wanna send beats send em to artists.
Thanks, but I meant like, if Im sending beats to five artists, do I send them all the same beats or do I send each a different one?
@@chrisval8268 there's no problem sending all of them the same beat.
@@chrisval8268 It depends on the the artist's style too. For eg, If one likes Synth sounds and another one likes dark clean beats, you cant send em the same beat (:

keep exploring sounds release those tho for sure
🐐
Hey kxvi, so when you send out samples do you just send out the mp3 with all the individual stems in that mp3 file? Or a second track stems zip?
