i'm both a kdrama and kpop fan, taehyung's friends in wooga squad are actually really popular! i got into kdramas before bts that's why i'm most familiar with park seojoon because his kdramas are always a hit! he's one of the most famous south korean actors out there. first watched him on fight for my way which was really popular then i went on to watch his following projects as well. park hyungsik is also really famous, i first watched him on strong girl bong soon then i found out that he also came from a kpop group called ze:a. that group's members are mostly actors too now. choi woo sik, only recently watched him on our beloved summer which was also a hit on netflix. peakboy had a music video which featured the entire wooga squad. all in all, they're all very famous and i love to see their friendship

The main lead of Hwarang is Park Seok Joon And Park Hyun Sik. Seo joon is very famous and has done so many kdramas. Hyunsik too i love hos romantic comedy kdrama. They’ve been friends since 2017 and although they are all big stars in Korea even in Asia, they managed to keep the bond as Taehyung always plan to get together as he see opportunities. They have been supportive of each other’s projects (movies, kdrama, tv shows, songs, etc) i love Wooga Family They have different ages but they get along well which is unusual in South Korea given the hierarchy of respect you need to display of you have different ages. Wooga Squad is SK entertainment elite. The talent in that group is INSANE. They are similar personalities in that they are kind, supportive, humble. I love that Taehyung has these guys in his life.
I think the best thing about all of them is that they all are incredible individuals who are A list, but are just so humble down to earth people. I believe that they get along well because yes they are chaotic but at the same time their values align when it comes to their friends, family, and fans. They overall are wholesome and are not afraid to be lovely to one another which I find so precious 💖 They are definitely a group of friends that we didn't know we needed until we had it. Now I can't have enough of their interactions as fellow kdrama lover and fan of peakboy my two worlds have collided and couldn't be happier for them :)

Taehyung is just someone made to be loved. i like their friendship alot. every single member of wooga is a elite celeb and I think they all have such a great friendship and very supportive of eachother.
Fun Fact: Park Hyunsik actually used to be a Kpop Idol as well. He was part of the Kpop Group ZE:A from 2010 to 2017. The group sadly disbanded after seven years but Hyungsik has been thriving as an actor for over 10 years now. Also Choi Wooshik wasn't in Hwarang but aside from Parasite, he also played the High School kid in Train To Busan and was also in The Witch: Subversion, which i highly recommend watching if you haven't seen it yet.

I QOTD: love these guys. I've been watching kdramas since I was 12 years old (the half of my life hahaha) so I know very well all these actors, that's why I'm so excited for this show in the soop. There are not many videos about Wooga Squad and all of them are just similar to the one you've watched. Park Seojoon and Park Hyungsik were the ones in Hwarang with Taehyung. (I do not recommend watching the whole kdrama, maybe just the scenes with V in it to see how he acts 😂) Choi Woosik is one of my favorites. He's the son in Parasite and is also in Train to Busan. Park Seoojon and Choi Woosik had a show and they called Taehyung there. You can see how close they are and how comfortable Tae is with them. Peakboy featured in Snow Flower and Wooga Squad also had a cameo on one of his MVs named "Gyopo Hairstyle" For their faces, I'm sure you'll learn through In The Soop 😂 I'm familiar with them all. So glad you did this and got to know the wooga squad members. Part of what makes their friend group great is that they are all so famous, but seem so nice and interact like brothers! Park Seo Joon & Park Hyungsik are two of my fav Korean actors. They are great just on their own. Also, I loved Parasite and think Wooshik is also an amazing actor. If you haven't watched it--Itaewon Class is a great drama. Parasite is a great movie.
I begun watching Hwarang purely for Taehyung (it was also my very first KDrama). About halfway into the first episode I was totally engrossed in the story. The first episode mainly features Park Seo Joon and the quality of the acting and cinematography caught me by surprise. I guess it’s a lot like the music; BTS made me aware that great music exists outside of the English speaking world and KDramas showed me the same is true in terms of movies or tv shows. By extension I now also watch Chinese and Japanese shows, it’s really expanded my world. Taehyung isn’t even in Hwarang until the second episode but like I said I was hooked by then anyway. Note: when you do watch it, his role is a support one, meaning he appears briefly and sporadically. Naturally enough whilst he doesn’t have a tremendous amount of scenes, he still does create a memorable character. To get to know the Wooga Squad I’d recommend watching their KDramas and movies. It’s a win win because not only will you learn more about Taehyung’s friends you are watching some of the best entertainment available today. The second male lead of Hwarang is Park Hyungshik, another member of the Wooga Squad and he has become my fave actor, of ALL time. Choi Woo Shik is a very versatile actor from what I’ve seen. After Hwarang, I started watching other KDramas, beginning with those featuring the Wooga Squad. Park Seojoon is the oldest member of Wooga and possesses all the desirable qualities of a male lead, including What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim, She Was Pretty and Fight For My Way (which Choi Woo Shik also appears in). You may have heard Seojoon recently scored a role in a Marvel movie. Park Hyungshik - Strong Woman Bong Soon, Suits (Korean remake of the US series), Juror 8, Happiness and Soundtrack No 1 Choi Woo Shik - Train to Busan and Parasite (which I haven’t watched yet but obviously it’s very well regarded) Not sure if In The Soop Friendcation will be available here in Australia so I’m grateful I’ll at least be able to watch it with you on Patreon.
I’m pretty familiar with Seojoon (who will be joining the MCU, a really famous actor), Wooshik (brilliant actor I met through Parasite and The Witch among other things), and Hyungsik (i watched him in Strong girl bong-soon and happiness). I have the biggest crush on Seojoon because I find him so sexy lmao and he’s a good kisser in his dramas… it’s kind of an old stereotype that in Kdramas the kisses are very awkward but Seojoon’s kisses are always really spicy. I wish this video gave more details but definitely check out Wikipedia. Also Seojoon is like Seokjin so it’s So-Joon. Then there’s Wooshik like Woo-sheek, and Hyungsik like Hyung in Taehyung and seek. So hyung-seek. Honestly Korean cinema is how I got into Kpop back in 2017 and 2018. I saw a film called Burning with Korean American actor Steven Yeun and another famous Korean actor named Yoo Ah In. This was right before the Korean cinema wave with Parasite a year later. I binge watched a ton of Yoo Ah In’s dramas and came across Seojoon and Wooshik before I even got into BTS so I’m really looking forward to ARMYs who don’t know about them to watch because actors are heavily regarded in Korean society and Taehyung’s friendship with them and Peakboy is interesting and sweet.

I love Park Seo Joon before I became army. I watched most of his kdramas in netflix, then I got to know V in Hwarang but have not listened to any BTS song. Itaewon Class is a good kdrama, and for good SeoJoon romcom you can watch Secretary Kim. Borahae Familia.
Familia one more thing, one of the theme song of Hwarang was sung by Taehyung and WWH Jin. The title It's gonna be you. They also sung this I think during their fan meet. The song is played thru out the whole series.

Wooshik is not in Hwarang so is Peakboy. The main lead of Hwarang is Park Seok Joon And Park Hyun Sik. Seo joon is very famous and has done so many kdramas. Hyunsik too i love hos romantic comedy kdrama. They’ve been friends since 2017 and although they are all big stars in Korea even in Asia, they managed to keep the bond as Taehyung always plan to get together as he see opportunities. They have been supportive of each other’s projects (movies, kdrama, tv shows, songs, etc) i love Wooga Family
They have different ages but they get along well which is unusual in South Korea given the hierarchy of respect you need to display of you have different ages. Wooga Squad is SK entertainment elite. The talent in that group is INSANE. They are similar personalities in that they are kind, supportive, humble. I love that Taehyung has these guys in his life.
I think the best thing about all of them is that they all are incredible individuals who are A list, but are just so humble down to earth people. I believe that they get along well because yes they are chaotic but at the same time their values align when it comes to their friends, family, and fans. They overall are wholesome and are not afraid to be lovely to one another which I find so precious 💖 They are definitely a group of friends that we didn't know we needed until we had it. Now I can't have enough of their interactions as fellow kdrama lover and fan of peakboy my two worlds have collided and couldn't be happier for them :)

Fun Fact: Park Hyunsik actually used to be a Kpop Idol as well. He was part of the Kpop Group ZE:A from 2010 to 2017. The group sadly disbanded after seven years but Hyungsik has been thriving as an actor for over 10 years now. Also Choi Wooshik wasn't in Hwarang but aside from Parasite, he also played the High School kid in Train To Busan and was also in The Witch: Subversion, which i highly recommend watching if you haven't seen it yet.

Hyungsik is also relatively better in English than the average South Korean because he hail from a rich family (his father is heir to his family estate and is a part of the board of directors for BMW in SK). So, they all encourage Taetae to practice with them. You could watch Taehyung conversing in English with Seojoon & Wooshik in their reality show "Youn's stay" when they video call him in one of their episodes.
Jimin & Jungkook used to be a bit jealous of the Wooga squad. In an interview, Jimin shared that he felt upset that Taetae was more verbal with his Wooga hyung when it comes to saying I love you & I miss you compared to them in Bangtan. To which Taetae explained that since BTS is his family it sometimes feel more awkward to say those things because you are together 24/7. And probably because he is the baby in Wooga and they are not actively working together, that he finds it easier to be affectionate to them.
JK though were seen hanging out with the Wooga squad during Hobi's JITB listening party, so I guess he & Jimin are past the tiny jealous phase.
Wooga are also some of the people whom Taetae asked to send video greetings for Jin for his 2020 birthday (because SK is in lockdown due to COVID and they cannot gather for a celebration) to cheer him up.
I've been following them since Hwarang because they have such sincere friendships that is so endearing. Given their status & fame, they remain real, humble and supportive with each other. And I love how they dote on Taetae so much that whatever he requests from them they almost always give in to their self-professed baby.

So glad you did this and got to know the wooga squad members. Part of what makes their friend group great is that they are all so famous, but seem so nice and interact like brothers! Park Seo Joon & Park Hyungsik are two of my fav Korean actors. They are great just on their own. Also, I loved Parasite and think Wooshik is also an amazing actor. If you haven't watched it--Itaewon Class is a great drama. Parasite is a great movie.

I begun watching Hwarang purely for Taehyung (it was also my very first KDrama). About halfway into the first episode I was totally engrossed in the story. The first episode mainly features Park Seo Joon and the quality of the acting and cinematography caught me by surprise. I guess it’s a lot like the music; BTS made me aware that great music exists outside of the English speaking world and KDramas showed me the same is true in terms of movies or tv shows. By extension I now also watch Chinese and Japanese shows, it’s really expanded my world.
Taehyung isn’t even in Hwarang until the second episode but like I said I was hooked by then anyway. Note: when you do watch it, his role is a support one, meaning he appears briefly and sporadically. Naturally enough whilst he doesn’t have a tremendous amount of scenes, he still does create a memorable character.
To get to know the Wooga Squad I’d recommend watching their KDramas and movies. It’s a win win because not only will you learn more about Taehyung’s friends you are watching some of the best entertainment available today.
The second male lead of Hwarang is Park Hyungshik, another member of the Wooga Squad and he has become my fave actor, of ALL time.
Choi Woo Shik is a very versatile actor from what I’ve seen. After Hwarang, I started watching other KDramas, beginning with those featuring the Wooga Squad. Park Seojoon is the oldest member of Wooga and possesses all the desirable qualities of a male lead, including What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim, She Was Pretty and Fight For My Way (which Choi Woo Shik also appears in). You may have heard Seojoon recently scored a role in a Marvel movie.

I’m pretty familiar with Seojoon (who will be joining the MCU, a really famous actor), Wooshik (brilliant actor I met through Parasite and The Witch among other things), and Hyungsik (i watched him in Strong girl bong-soon and happiness). I have the biggest crush on Seojoon because I find him so sexy lmao and he’s a good kisser in his dramas… it’s kind of an old stereotype that in Kdramas the kisses are very awkward but Seojoon’s kisses are always really spicy. I wish this video gave more details but definitely check out Wikipedia. Also Seojoon is like Seokjin so it’s So-Joon. Then there’s Wooshik like Woo-sheek, and Hyungsik like Hyung in Taehyung and seek. So hyung-seek.
Honestly Korean cinema is how I got into Kpop back in 2017 and 2018. I saw a film called Burning with Korean American actor Steven Yeun and another famous Korean actor named Yoo Ah In. This was right before the Korean cinema wave with Parasite a year later. I binge watched a ton of Yoo Ah In’s dramas and came across Seojoon and Wooshik before I even got into BTS so I’m really looking forward to ARMYs who don’t know about them to watch because actors are heavily regarded in Korean society and Taehyung’s friendship with them and Peakboy is interesting and sweet.

strangely enough I knew park hyung sik even before i knew bts and taehyung! back in 2015-17 when i was really into kdramas! i came across strong woman do bong soon in 2017 where park hyung sik was the lead and then learnt he was in a kpop group named ZE:A ! I listened to a few of their songs and loved it! not a stan but i was casually vibing to the songs of ZE:A in early 2018 beginning of may when i heard so much about BTS and decided to check out DNA and the rest is history! the comeback was also just around the corner so fake love was my first comeback since i became an army! even though i do know hyung sik from 2017 i don't really know him as a person only saw him in dramas and songs and may be a few variety shows so it will be fun to know him and the others more through the series but truly speaking i am mostly here for in the soop for tae
