    thanks for putting this together and posting this Enda,myself and Adam believe this to be one of the finest irish ballads (words and music by Terry Boyle) to enter main stream irish folk music recently,a poignant reminder to politicians to make good there promises and we believe a fitting tribute to those who lost there lives that tragic evening 9th november 1935 almost 80 years ago.god rest their souls.

      Kelly GormleyKelly, It is indeed a song that makes us all realise how fragile life was back in the 30's. The fact that those unfortunate people had to travel backwards and forward to Scotland to basically feed and maintain their familys existence. Terry captured it well in his words and your Dad has produced an excellent arrangement and his version is haunting to listen too.
