Pokémon TCG Locals Gameplay (Pidgeot Control vs Ranging Bolt ex)

I’ve decided to start recording some of the local matches from the vlogs and uploading them as dedicated game play videos. In these videos I will show case the deck that I play for the week as well as a match I believe is the best.
This week I played Mooney round 1 as they piloted Pidgeot Control. Here are some notes I have about the match itself.
- Game 1: I over benched and did not have a dedicated spot to play Flutter Mane to deal with the Mimikyu directly. I decided I would use Squak to set up a Bolt and hope to hit Pokémon Catcher on the next turn (they didn’t know it was in the list), after they played the 3rd Eri I had no way on getting Mimikyu out of the active spot, so I scooped for the sake of time.
- Game 2: Flutter start and Donk was nice.
- Game 3: Sometimes Iono giveth, sometimes Iono taketh away. I had set up my board so I needed minimal pieces in order to set up a KO on a 2 prize Pokémon. Again, Squak comes in clutch to set up a Pokémon on the bench. Who says this card is a liability after turn 1?

Game 3, you attached 2 grass to your flutter mane. And 1 to your squawk in the active. How did you do that?
EDIT: you used motivate with squawk lol good gameplay , I might try flutter mane in the deck after watching this
Sometimes it’s just better to take the opportunity to load up more energy than try to do anything else haha, Squak comes in clutch sometimes
@@profwalt I like it, it gives squawk a reason to be there, atleast for that match up or any stall situation

@@hiddenmosaic I do like the fact that it’s a control deck that has multiple ways of winning the game. That being said it is still annoying to play 😂
