      Thanks for watching. I'm glad you enjoyed it. Northern BC has a ton of fossils. We have some of the best dinosaur tracks in the world and I even made a video of one of the track ways.

      No problem at all. Next time you're in the area you should head in there and check it out. The falls are only a couple hundred yards off the road.

    Beautiful country back there! You might have to do a catch and cook at the chowade if you are driving that far!

    • @BuickOutdoors
      @BuickOutdoors  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ya that wouldn't be too bad. I've caught lots of fish out of the chowade. I was told that it's pretty fished out now.

    Can you tell me how you added the subscribe effect

    • @BuickOutdoors
      @BuickOutdoors  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I Googled subscribe button and found a picture with no background and downloaded it to my computer. Then I found the bell sound on epidemic sound. When I import the subscribe button on to my editing software I overlay it onto the video then adjust the size of it and set the length of time I want it up for. Then I start a new audio track and put the bell noise on it and set it for when the subscribe comes up. Also have to adjust the dB of the bell so it isn't overpowering. -20db is usually the sweet spot for the bell

      I'm glad you enjoy it. It's a pretty cool way to reach people all over the world. This week I'm checking out dinosaur tracks, waterfalls and doing some fishing. Over the next couple months I'll slowly be putting all of my videos up. I put one up every Friday.

    So I worked up there back in 2009ish. I regret not calling it in but on the site we worked the slate had slid away. There was perfect fossilized dinosaur tracks. Sadly someone spray painted them. Was a large 3 toed Dino track. There was atleast 3 in the set and they were larger then my hand. It was very cool to see. I’m curious if they are still there on the side of the location

      That's pretty cool. Where about was it? Maybe I'll go out there next summer and check it out.

    • @BuickOutdoors

      2.5 to 3 hours roughly. It's a ways down the mile 95 road.

    How long is it from the trail head to the falls?

    Geeze I've lived up north here most of my life, and never been up to fossil falls. I bet you can find crystals up there as well.

    • @BuickOutdoors
      @BuickOutdoors  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Its a beautiful spot that's easy to get to. I didn't spend much time in the creek itself so I don't know if there would be much for crystals in there or not. It would be a good excuse for you to head out there and check it out lol especially with the heat this weekend, you could stand under the falls and cool off from the waterfall.

    Great fossils! We have a "fossil ridge" in Texas, lots of shark teeth.

    • @BuickOutdoors
      @BuickOutdoors  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      That would be really cool to check out. If I'm ever out in Texas I'll have to try to find it.
