My brother is on his 11th year in the army, and he’s actually going to college right now, because he’s going to be CIA after he retires. I went to meps and failed my physical due to some previous medical issues, but I’m going through the waiver process currently. Asthma waiver to be exact. I had 3 other waivers approved, and they wanted me to submit my pft test results along with clearance from my doctor saying I don’t have asthma. When the USAREC Surgeon General emailed my recruiter, they said they never received the test results, when in fact, they did. Was supposed to hear back about it last Thursday after my recruiters company commander called them to address the situation, and still, today, have not heard anything.

Its really up to your unit some start giving phone time in white phase some start in blue phase and basic and AIT will be for 6 months in total and will be joined together lnown as osut but after those 6 months you will accumulate 10 days of leave and you will be able to go home for those 10 days
That's bullshit my son has been in two years now as a mp still has not seen patrol duty ,has even Been to Germany for a tour he said he's doing none law enforcement stuff . He's a E3 now. Graduated 2nd in his class .

hi, Joker. Prior MP 31B..SSG. The years depends on your military contract. Some stay 5 years, get out and apply with a law enforcement agency. In your case, honesty, law enforcement frowns upon MP's. We are looking for life experience. Remember, you are not a COP. Wish you luck!

I have a MP badge as well just for memory. My point, when and if you decide to ETS, you will still have to go through a "certified" law enforcement agency in your jurisdiction. Once you graduate a law enforcement academy, you are paired with a FTO (Field training officer) to determine if you are fit to be a police officer. This conversation may mean very little to you now but when and if you decide to apply with a law enforcement agency when you ETS, you will totally get what I'm saying. Stay safe, stay strong!

I want to possibly become a customs officer at an aiport near me I figured that would boost my resume. I'm currently in the research phase and need clarity in a few things: 1. For the 20 weeks training, how many days a week and how many hours a day? 2. Do you get basic pay twice a month? 3. What happens after training? How soon are you out in the field working?
So for training you train like a normal week day wake up early for pt and then you will train until like 5PM sometimes will be alot later depending on training type weekends there are no training its free time and its up to your drill sgts on what yall will do
Pay yes you will be paid twice a month and you be paid your rank pay and your status pay so if your a pv2 and active duty you will get that pay same with reserve and national guard

I noticed in the video that you mentioned that you want to go into the FBI after your military experience. My plan is to either go into Federal law enforcement, or be an entrepreneur focused on weapons training, etc. With that said, how would taking college courses fit into an MP schedule? I just got my associates in Criminal justice but I want to finish my bachelor's once I'm an MP and let that tuition assistance take care of it. Is it doable with an MP schedule? I did 4 years in the army and got out last January. Now I’m looking to re-enlist as a 31B. Did you have prior service in the ait portion of your osut? If so how were they treated? Did they get their phones? I’m also NLETS certified from civilian employment. Will that help me? Thanks man.
No i wasn't prior service i enlisted as a 31b , and it depends on what company you go to and your drill sgts my company was the strictest in our battalion

So 31b go through osut one stationed unit training ok and so after basic the next day your in ait and throughout all of ait you learn everything

I did 4 years in the army and got out last January. Now I’m looking to re-enlist as a 31B. Did you have prior service in the ait portion of your osut? If so how were they treated? Did they get their phones?

No i wasn't prior service i enlisted as a 31b , and it depends on what company you go to and your drill sgts my company was the strictest in our battalion

Hey brother how often do MP’s stand gate? I’m in the Navy looking to transfer to the Army after my contract and our all MA’s really do or a lot of them I know is stand gate guard every day. Im considering 31b but I’m more leaning towards infantry.
