So I live in the UK and a lot of Demi permanent colours are labelled as semi for retail customers..a popular example is like the garnier nutrisse range which lasts “up to 24 washes” and is labelled as a semi (and then actual semi permanents are labelled as ‘temporary’! I think this is just to avoid confusion for the average retail customer as in the actual hairdressing industry in the uk we still call demis either Demi permanent or quasi permanent and then reserve semi for fashion colours with no oxidative properties 😊❤
@@uggles_mcfuggles semi and Demi aren’t really that different. Only difference is you have to mix hydrogen peroxide aka developer for a Demi permanent, whilst Semi permanent already has hydrogen peroxide in it. Temporary is only a coating, and washes out once you shower.
im from the UK, i dont know why theyve called it semi permanent. it probably is just a demi permanent but we dont typically describe any colour as demi. to me, anything with a developer regardless of volume, is a permanent dye. semi permanent is anything conditioner based, no developer, that fades naturally over time.
Hi! In Spain (and I guess in some other European countries too) we don't have "demi permanent" colours, so "semi permanent" are the ones mixed with developer but not as permanent as the actual permanent dyes. Here, your semi permanent colours are called temporary, fantasy colours, colour masks or direct dyes.

The copper toner sounds really similar to the Kristen Ess gloss in copper penny and I WOULD LOVE to see a comparison. I use it on my natural auburn hair to enhance it. If you tried them on both blonde and like a level 7 swatch that would be so cool

I’m in London, UK. I’ve only ever heard Americans say Demi permanent. I’m not a professional but I’m only familiar with semi permanent or permanent.
That being said, I wouldn’t expect to find peroxide in a semi.
My boyfriend has the exact same hair colour as the copper toner washed out and I just think it’s beautiful🧡

I use their brush and bowel but I've never tried their colour before! My hairs soo dark and cuz I'm a teen I'm not allowed to bleach it yet. But I've heard rlly great things about it 😌 ☺️

As a Brit, I agree with the other UK commenters - we don’t tend to hear anything described as “demi-permanent” (think temporary colours but including some kind of developer to lift the cuticle) or “direct deposit” (think just pigment in a conditioner base). In my experience, temporary colour that includes a developer would be called “semi-permanent” despite the fact it does lift the cuticle a bit, and a temporary pigment-in-conditioner is also called semi-permanent which is very confusing!

Wow, those look so pretty! I've been using the Reincarnation mask and I *HIGHLY* recommend it. I found it at Walmart for like $13
The toner to be fair they recommend as a toner to prepare for colouring rather than a dye on it's own. So to tone after bleach and then dye over it which is probably why it faded so easily

I used the bleach on teal hair and it kicked the teal out first try! then used the copper tone on top and its beautiful

Iv used bleach london honey before gutted it dosnt last long in my hair it's stunning iv used lavender gray demi before too lasts sbit longer but always wish it stayed in ..love the beer shampoo n mask too
Thank you very much for trying out these! I have to admit, that "Just like honey" looks just like fresh bleached, yellow hair and in the camera at least, didn't seem to have some reddish tones in it. Iam looking forward for more videos!

I live in the UK and literally have no idea what 'demi' permanent means. Most dyes are labelled either permanent or semi-permanent. Semi permanents can last anywhere from like 3 washes to 30 so it's sort of anybody's guess XD We do also have some that are labelled as temporary if they only last a couple washes.
I use punky colour alpine green on my hair and decided I wanted to fade it out naturally to change the colour, 6 months later it was still green. I wash in hot water, shampooed all over not just roots, swam in the ocean and chlorine pools and it was still green. that stuff didn't budge

My blue has NEVER faded, so I just had to top it up because even bleach wash didn't remove it 😢

For me, I have to get it to go purple or green. Then only I can strip it out
I just used the Bleach London Tangerine Dream on my hair and I love the result, love the color, it was super easy to apply… but it was so hard to get the dye out of the bottle! That’s my only complaint. A wider mouth on the bottle would be clutch… next time I might just cut the top off of it.
I’ve recently used the toner and was very sad. I’m a strawberry blonde naturally and I don’t feel like it did anything. I wanted more copper for fall and don’t feel like it did much

So weird I used the proper copper so many times and I used a colour remover on it and it went back too blonde , it wasn’t a bleach colour remover tho , xx
i used adore copper/red and it went to a bright neon highlighter pink it was awful. finally fading out
Its a toner thats why it has peroxide but it still washes out and isn't "permanent"
