Nice video, thanks. Only addition would be, FAE recommends loobing the threads on the stainless bolts so the lock nuts don’t bind up before tightened. Highly recommended as a couple of mine, froze midway, and had to be broken off and purchased replacements.
I noticed your boat has a sacrificial anode on the back. Do you run in salt? If so, then did you get your FAE in 316 stainless? How is it holding up? Also, did you do a muffler delete?
Hey Jason. It only comes in stainless steel. You can pay more $$ and have the welds blended, but I didn’t care for that option. And although I do have the anode, I haven’t run my boat in salt water. The FAE has been trouble free since install and looks just as good as the day I installed it. Lastly, I keep the muffler.
