Living in France (also born and raised here) I can tell you that putting up Christmas lights on the balconies (if you have a house, around the gutter, and if you have a garden, in the trees as well) is something we also do and the Nutella biscuits are something we have here too 😁😁 Those are probably very European things ^^
The christmas lights on balconies is definitely a thing in more European countries than Italy! In Sweden we do it a lot, both on balconies, in windows, and of course in our gardens; we kind of have to make light ourselves when the sun sets at four, three, or as it's started to get close to here now, even two :')
The light in that apartment is beautiful. It's generally just a beautiful apartment. Considering a mini move to Italy so excited to watch your journey. Congrats on the move ❤
Girl you are so brave! 🖤 I know how it feels - I moved to Berlin, Germany for love and it was an adjustment but you got this 💖 And at least you’re around Italians! I’ve heard so much good about 🇮🇹
Welcome to Italia from a fellow American living in Italia! Your video just got recommended to me, happy to find ya😅I'm in Bergamo if you're ever in the area! xx
omg those nutella biscuits...🤤 the apartment looks amazing!! hope you're able to settle in more soon, glad to see a new upload from you this morning!! 💕
Happy Holidays, Leilani! 🎄✨ Condolences to you and your boyfriend's family. I too lost my grandmother this year. Part of her care for us is felt in the places, things, and memories of her on this earth. I hope this apartment you're staying in will also have that love, as you learn to find home over there in Italy. ❤ I see how much coziness there is! Your Christmas decorations, a view of balcony lights, good coffee, hearty soup. 🥰🤤 And yes please to those Nutella Biscuits! I'd be someone who'd always, ALWAYS have a bag of those! Oh, and I learned new environments cause a kind of stress that leads to that tiredness you're experiencing. Along with good meals, don't forget hot lemon water to help your system. Be safe, and have a great Christmas in Italy! 🎄✨
OMG! OMG! OMG! I LOVE YOUR APARTMENT 😍😍😍 I freakin LOVE vintage-y style. I LOVE the chairs in dining and the sunlight coming in the house is a good sign. I LOVE IT!!
Merry Christmas Leilani! I imagine that you're having the experience of THE italian christmas rn! yes, it's typical to put lights on balcony which are way better than the poor hanging santa claus that we put outside years ago. also the apartment has all the Italian nonna (grandma) vibes there, oof, from the floor to the kitchen, I'm crying. lots of love and hugs from Milan ❤❤
Congrats on the move girlie!! I’ve been here since day one and I’ll keep being here! I don’t comment often but I love your videos! I’m so happy for you and your bf! Also we do have those Nutella cookies here in the US. I’m in Virginia and they sell them at the grocery store and even our dollar general. ❤❤
Hello Leilani! Merry Christmas to you! After watching your video, I went to HEB which is our grocery store here in Texas and found some of the Nutella biscuits! I guess they are now available in the US 😀
It's me, your #1 Fan. Are there any ponies in your neighborhood? Taking them carrots should energize you and make the ponies happy too. Loved all the European Antique furniture..
It is a joy watching your vlogs ❤ Wow what a great apartment! Thank you for the tour ❤ When you made your bed i missed you hitting the kawaii plushie like you did in california 😢🐻🤛😂 Also when you showed us the italian kitties, i instantly thought,Kona 😭 🐱 Bless you on your new adventure and enjoy those cookies 😋😋😋🍪
Girl duolingo is not it (except as a supplement). Join an in person language class, volunteer for every chore going so you can talk to randos all day, and make your bf talk Italian to you too (at least for certain periods a day). Italy is amazing but the language barrier is real! Hope you can enjoy your new city, all the day trips a stone's throw away and wonderful food and culture soon!
As a lifestyle vlogger what is the best piece of advice, you'd like to share that would help grow a channel? The Nutella biscuits is genius! Adding that to my Christmas list thank you!
