Throughout the 19th, I'll be posting some fan favorites of one of my biggest arrangement projects of 2014.
Notes about this track:
This was around the time I got a better understanding of UK Hardcore. This could very well be one of my better attempts.

in my opinion, this doesn't exactly stray away from what the original felt like, sure this kind of makes you want to dance, but it still has that same feeling the original had, just in a different way.
Yeah. When I saw the message on that monitor, went to the Egg Corridor and heard this song, only two words filled my head: *HURRY UP.*
Welcome to Egg Coridoor? Today our original song that made this area feel more hopeless and destoryed was broken, so we just put this song that makes the area sound like there’s a rave going on instead of dying sky dragons and destruction.

You return to the egg chamber, the corpses of the dragons litter the floor as you slowly yet surely get to the far edge of the island to infiltrate the Doctor's base. As your assaulted on all sides, seeing all the destruction caused by the core being stolen (and also getting nearly pulverized by you). As you run through the wreckage towards the final confrontation

Hell yes. I was so pumped for this when I heard it in the 2013 trailer.
I really don’t get the complaints about sounding different. It’s not supposed to be in the game, it’s just a reimagining of the song. And on its own the song is really good.
Scorching back originally sounded like all hope was lost, what with all the dead sky-dragons everywhere. (Poor things... ;^;) This kinda makes you wanna dance.
I'm not saying I don't like this, i freakin love it. But, it kinda strays from what it originally FEALT like, is what I mean.
(I mean, i cried for some reason when i heard the Original Scorching Back and saw all the death and destruction caused to those sky dragons.)

I mean, this is a remix
I heavily agree with this statment, while this is good AS A SONG, it doesn't fit the atmosphere. THis is the part where you lose track of curly, and all the mimiga have been kidnapped, just for you to return to this area, and find what used to be a fun and cheery place is run down filled with corpses
The remix is allright in it's own right, but it does not fit with the scene anymore. It is more fast paced (let alone the "GO"'s) and that takes away from the sad melody which was there to augment the allready tragic theme of the fight.
this would fit into the area if there were a LOT more enemies, and a time limit before something destroyed the area entirely

Vocals? That "GO" sample is practically used in a lot of things these days. Well, it's pretty hard to find, lest you know exactly where to look. Other than that, I can't write lyrics worth crud. :v

I could hear this as Quote or Curly's theme in their stages on Blade Strangers or Crystal Crisis.
Never played cave story but this sounds like something that would play in a final boss battle
It's definitely lost the original tone of the theme -- but if you're not married to that, it's a good piece in its own right.
Way better than the remastered version and this is coming from someone who prefers the remastered soundtrack
Egg Corridor but if it was a boss theme instead. You could swap this in for the Doctor's boss theme or Balos and it would work quite well.
3:00 onwards slaps so fucking hard
This has an eerily similar tune to the chase leitmotif from changed. I am slightly pained by this.

My first playthrough, and I don't know the whole story yet. Lol. But, God, is Undertale amazing. Comic Sans confirmed best character, btw.

Good song. But it doesn't sound like 'Cave Story'. All your other tracks would fit into the game, but this one seems... off. You couldn't really fit this in.
