I remember when this came.out, I can't believe it's 16 years ago. Jesus.
I know...❤. Sadly for me...house hasn't gotten that much better...The Freemasons from that decade or so...raised the ceiling and not sure if many have matched it. REALLY WANT THEM TO KEEP MAKING HITS...Take me Back
@@joshualostcoconut9337 keep having to find new music, I listen to Stay See or Monstercat Silk channels.
this dancing is not stupid! It's classic choreography from "Sweet charity" made by Fosse - the greatest choreographer on Broadway ever!
I can't remember how I discovered this song but it has been one of my favorite songs of all time.
Ive only just found it and did an essay on the source choreography for this in HS dance class 16 years ago 😂
16 years ago i was in High school dance class and did an assignment on this scene from Sweet Charity.. and never knew this song or music video even existed back then.
Now in my playlist❤
I love how they've practically gone shot to shot with the choreography.. absolutely stunning display and homage to Bob Fosse.
i don't get why this song never did well in the charts- i love it.
Same… I never understood why? It’s bloody brilliant 🤩
I can't either folk have bad taste in not thinking this song wasn't good
I don't remember it at all and I listened intently to music from this time.
And I'm ashamed to admit that, this is a brilliant song!
@@skylined5534 I remember it coming on frequently and I was in love with the music video, but now I'm thinking it just lived rent free in my head.
Yeah I was listening intently at the time of this songs release ... Didn't hit my radar at all.
Such a great video! I love the dancing!
I fucking love the Freemasons
What voice what song totally rocks
This video was inspired by the film and Broadway show, "Sweet Charity" from the 60s. The number is called Rich Man's Frug, choreographed by Bob Fosse. AMAZING! It's also the inspiration behind Beyonce's "Get Bodied".
yes !!! i love sweet charity... kisses from chile
😊😊
Yes we know
❤🥰🥰🥰🥰
Seen katherine Ellis in flamingo nightclub in blackpool and her set was absolute fire 🔥
This tune was a banger which not everybody appreciated unfortunately
i 've been looking for this song for years. finally found it.
Might not have done well in the charts but went down well in clubs where it mattered
Brilliant music
Omg. How have I never seen or heard this? Love it!!
I still love this BANGER of a dance track in 2024 September. Still Holds Up...
Every one featured in this clip is a happy person. Because it is a masterpiece.
Freemasons expert mixers. listen to them all you wont be disappointed.
13 years later I’ve only just now discovered this song and video and am OBSESSED.
May try to get my friends to recreate it at my wedding even 🥳
Do it! Happy wedding day! X

Katherine Ellis is talented woman..... absolutely stunning voice
I got my late husband hooked on this song back in the day and I'm very proud of myself for doing so!😁😁
I hope he’s getting down to all these banger tunes in the higher dimensions.
Absolute Floor Filler that one!!!
2015 and it still sounds and looks utterly amazing
nemielas Amen to that, brother.
+Neosashi Also in february 2016.
july 2016
2019 and still sounding good!
back to the future... :-B
Boy do I love this singer, Katherine Ellis. I heard this when I visited the UK in spring of this year and loved it right away. At 1:30-1:33, the "oh, yeah!" really gets me. I love it when a singer just hauls off and cries out like that. Good stuff!
Another one that could’ve been set free in the middle of the 1970s Disco era and then released 30 years later and no one would know the difference
It’s that Good
Good music is Timeless
The choreography is amazing - seriously, so much more complex than you'd think.
not a patch on the original it so badly covered
@@spongebobsquaretitsloved Bob Fosse's choreography
@@catherineshields-koolen443 me too, Sweet Charity that this is copied from has some fantastic dance scenes. His attention to detail was amazing, even the dancers hand ,movements had to be perfect
YEAH THATS RIGHT!!!
2020.....still burning 🔥
I actually find the background male dancers in this video much more entertaining! Who directed this video? Where are the stats on this? haha
This is a brilliant record and the ladies wear glamourous costumes.
Jachim and Boaz are having a great time!
watching these dancers makes me realize just how talented the original 60s dancers were
How the hell does she hit those notes! Amazing voice
I still love this track. The Freemasons are brilliant
This has got to be one of the most stylish dance videos out there. Kudos to the artist for going down this route.
I'm actually glad they used Bob Fosse's wonderfull choreography of Sweet Charity's Rich man's Frug and Big Spender. Maybe it's not a brilliantly performed as the original show, revivals and/or movie but this way our new generation get's a glimpse of musicaltheatrehistory even though they may not be aware of it! I like it!
@MarkvanBeelen you can see it set to the original here: th-cam.com/video/Ukwe04xDS2w/w-d-xo.htmlsi=N08ckbbNbOV76TuG
disco will never die
this is not DISCO MUSIC is simply another tipe of DANCE MUSIC xx
Loved this tune, still do, takes me back to good times.
That main dancer was in literally every video in the late 00's
the choreography is amazing ! and the music too !
let's try to learn the choreography for a show with friends at a party
if there's a better set of dj's in the uk, or even the world than the freemasons, i'll eat my head
This song is just so ear-catching was out the other night heard this and just went mental dancing... Plus seeing all those gorgeous guys dancing in the club was nice and can be said Freemasons never done a bad song.. Freemasons ROCK!
I totally agree with you. One of Top 5 songs of the year. Others are Cyndi Lauper's Into The Nightlife, Britney's Womanizer, Kylie's In My Arms and Like A Drug
12 years later, who listening in 2020? ;) (comment created in August 2019)

Still fantastic
F*ckin' brilliant!
2024 and obsessed with the song❤❤❤❤
What they should be do in a music video? They are acting and its fantastic to see something different.
Fucking awesome tune.
Im watching and listnening these song for last 25 min....and i think i am.............HYPNOTIZED.......
Stunning
Take it easy, dude !
Ahah! This song is great for driving. Not so much for urban areas, but everywhere else. Crazy cool video too.
It really doesn't get better than this.
This kind of songs are so much better than all those fucking hiphop and r&b. This is where the kids should listen to in the clubs. Popmusic has to be fun and happy. Not depressive like rapshit.
Absolute Dynamite song! Their hook lines get you everytime. Thought it would take something special to top "Uninvited"......but they have!
I love the Freemasons the best song was Mesmerised but I love this song too it's like watching a Austin Powers advert
Me too. Looks like Vic and Bob's old studio set as well.
Thanks so much saintantho I found it out a few days ago but thanks again. I have decided Sophie Ellis Bextor is my favourite pop singer. She´s amazing!!!
OMG ... if you did those moves @ a club you would be a legend!!! they are immense.
Gr8 song and vid.
Freemasons rule!!!!!!!!!
Yay!! x
Katherine Ellis still absolutely stunning
Madonna Vogue, Malcolm Maclaren, Kykie Can't get you out of my head all use elements of Bob Fosse's choreography in their videos. He was vell ahead of his time in the dance world.
Great smooth groove.......yeah.....!
2021 and still gettin’ it 🔥
Great song and video! Still fresh in 2017!

Bob Fosse - Sweet Charity
Stephanie Fitzpatrick. She was the girl in the Mark Brown ft. Sarah Cracknell "The Journey Continues" video.
incredible!!!! its make me dance!!!!
Timeless tune, remind me Hedkandi Pasha Victoria, really memorable nights from 2003 up to 2009 peak of some of the best nights
That was when London was real busy 🎉🎉

So ¨Sweet Charity¨ video.
This video is a exact remake of some pieces of the movie "Sweet charity" by Bob Fosse. I saw it yesterday and I recognized it at the moment.
one of the best video clips ever
I don't know why this song crossed my mind after all these years but it is a good song lol
yeah baby!!!
absolutely brilliant tune

This brings out my wild side.
Choreoghraphy was fab! I'd never heard of these freemasons - and not an apron in sight!
YEAH THATS RIGHT!!!!!!!!
emma bunton, this, and beyonce's videos were all based off of sweet charity, a movie from the 70's with shirley maclaine
ALL of those new videos are a throwback
still loving it! how can you not dance to it??
