Could you please clarify that in the video there was ledger balance, then why did you create a challan. Kindly also advise if you already have ledger balance, which steps to follow?

Agar apka ka ledger balance alreday hai to you can directly choose "Make Payment/Post Credit to Ledger".
No need to create challan
