So if I want barrels to spawn on train wreck events I’d have to change / add a custom usage tag to the cart being used in the event ? But how can I make sure the barrels in general won’t spawn in train carts outside of the event?
Hi, I am having some issues with trying to some items to spawn. I want ammo boxes, m67 grenade, rgd5 grenade, claymore, landmine, plastic explosive, remote detonator, and the 40mm explosive all to spawn on the heli crashes. I have followed your video on how to set custom loot and it works for the most part. The issue I am having is that all the items don't spawn in at once. It seems that all these items rotate 2 at a time and never spawn all at once. I have each item set to 20 for the number of items. I've even done separate useage's thinking that if i just group them two by two that would fix the issue. I am honestly at a loss and not sure where to continue. I am on console. If someone could help me please I would be greatly appreciate it.
If we don't want them to be just deloot for example, can we still use the tag and the helicopters will still get them from around the map to the loot? I want some things to be in villages/towns but also a chance to be at helicopters
Nice video. I have mods that load motorcycles but they load inside buildings as it didnt come with spawn locations. DO I add usage tags for these items? How can I control where they spawn (outside of buildings)? I feel this video almost got me there but I am missing something I guess.
@@louieavi motorcycle isn't loot, if you have it spawning in buildings it's because it was given a value in the types file. Vehicles keep a 0 value in types, they exist in types to have their lifetime parameters and such. An event and event spawns is what you're looking for, should be a couple videos down on this playlist!
@@JosieGarfunkle My mod files are in mpmissions/moddedtype using cfgexconomycore.xml entry references. I like it but I think that complicates my thinking on how events link to types.xml. I think my lightbulb will go on at some point. Big thanks for the reply. Cheers!

this works identically to how it shows in this video and has worked just like this for years. validate your files, assume personal error at all times during your learning part of these basics(xml)

If I were to add deloot="1" to an item, does that stop it from spawning everywhere else on the map?
that *should just make it spawn only on dynamic events=de loot = dynamic event loot
