      Well, at this point in it's life it's sort of a "de-accerted" c15. It does have that sound. I haul fuel with it. Watching your stuff I just laugh at how hauling fuel is the exact same bullshit everywhere. I don't get any motor oil hauling adventures though.

      @@Life-On-18-Wheels I especially appreciated the one where you pumped off at some muddy sugar cane farm.
      That one is universal. Every time you get the truck cleaned up you WILL have to go pump off in some mud hole. It's like some conspiracy to break your spirit. I swear it.

    • @Life-On-18-Wheels

    I agree, with everything you pointed out is what i don't like about the New Kenworth 680. Paccar 🤷‍♂️ Smh
    Alot of Guys up N order Petes with a Weed Burners, so they can put on fake exhaust. But if you order a weed burner on the 2023's, you get the smaller passenger step which matches the driver side step. That DEF eats your exhaust, its nasty. That another reason why they go with Fake 7's or 8's Stacks, they stay shiner..

    I’m all new to this trucking world, I love the Peterbilts. Trying my best to learn about them. My question is, are older, used Peterbilts good investments? For someone looking to buy their first Pete in the future, would buying a used one be a bad decision?
    I’m a car guy, all my cars are 20+ years old.. I love the simplicity of them and they just keep running, even with high miles. Does it work the same way with Petes? Of course basic maintenance and repairs considered.. is an older used Pete just a money pit? Or are they also bullet proof & hold their value.

    • @Life-On-18-Wheels
      @Life-On-18-Wheels  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Well That depends on the truck... are older trucks good investments.. I wouldn't see why not... if it was up to me I would be driving a 80s model 359 or something like that cause you ain't got all the computer stuff like nowadays... try and see if you can find a truck with a manual motor in it not electronic... manual motors are hard to find but are a whole lot easier to work on... I don't think it would be a bad decision like I said if you found the right one... hope this helps

      @@Life-On-18-Wheels i have an 82 359 but and currently not using it because its a day cab! Hopefully I’ll find a sleeper pretty soon if we can get this country straightened back out and maybe one day we can get back to truck makers producing real trucks again hopefully! I wish Peterbilt would offer special builds of any of their old models I don’t know why they don’t do it I guess it’s all boils down to money! Stay safe out there man!

    Looks stupid. Should have a classic wood grain dash with conventional gauges just updated look to them. Steering wheels ugly too. Should be old school wood grain with airbag and horn only. Jake brake is dumb. A switch is better and the trailer brake is dumb. I don’t like the dash and steering wheel design at all. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it.
