The Nos means I can have a sustained close range fight OR kite outside of web range against a larger slower ship. If I fit Torps I'd be restricting my pvp combat to brawls alone. Range comes in handy to fight off other frigs that decide to kite outside of web range but within their own missile range/turret optimal. Hopefully that helps explain 👍

I see a disparity with the nos explanation and choosing long range missiles. If you planned to be that close wouldnt torpedos serve you best?
