A much simpler time indeed. Peering at the games art through the bubble screen monitors that we were given at the time and listening to the soundtrack, caring very little for what went about around me. It was an escape from the rather chaotic world I had grown to know and fear. Then the school year ended and they removed the computers the next year, and I never payed it again, lost in a sea of memories. It was just recently that I had rediscovered it, and what a treasure it has been to do so. Even for a flash game it is hard not to admire the artistry that goes into the game, every line and bit of animated background. The element that this game reintroduced can be described with nothing less than nostalgia at its finest.

I played this game a good handful of times before, pre 2014 but the memory of this game that hits hardest for me is one day in 2011/2012 in the afternoon, maybe 1 P.M. and my mom was cleaning the house, big brother was playing on the Wii and my little brother was watching cartoons. Now it is August 1st, 2021. Its unfathomable to think that this was a whole decade ago. Although absolutely nothing has changed since then, the Wii is in the same place. I am sitting on the same chair, with the computer on the same desk in the same exact place, my little brother watching cartoons right now still, and my big brother is currently playing on the PS4, using the same TV, I still miss the early 2010's. One day this comment will be 10 years old and if this video is still here, you bet I'm gonna return here to this comment. Back in 2011, I didn't know I was making memories that'd last in my mind for this long, all I knew was that I was having fun. Maybe me writing this very comment right now at 5:19 P.M. will one day be remembered by me in 2031 and miss the days I am currently experiencing. This song is so warm and cozy, it just instantly makes me feel like i'm in a dimly lit room in a comfortable recliner, blanket around my shoulders as I sip a hot cup of cocoa and stare out the window. Gives me chills to hear it again after so long. It's like a part of me I didn't know I had just resurfaced again. This song has been in my head for a decade now., sometimes it haunts me, but I always kinda knew it came from this game. And let me tell you buddy, I fucking loved this game bro. I don't think I ever finished it. I remember playing it when I was six-seven years old, back then I didn't really care about the soundtrack, but now that I'm older, it has this very sappy, nostalgic feel to it. It feels kinda like a theme song of some rather mysterious character who is never noticed by others, but is responsible for helping and being next to them in their worst times,. Like a quite literal comfort character. No one ever thanks him for the things he does, but he still continues on his night time flying, looking at all the lonely people in town, all the ones in broken relationships, all the ones who have tried to take their lives before. He's broken himself, but he tries to fix others problems, and sometimes, he succeeds. He doesn't have a name, he doesn't have an alibis, he doesn't have a mother nor a father, but every night he's in the skies entering others lives and reaching out in a way, changing their mindset and circumstance. Kinda like the game itself, a paper airplane going across cities, reaching others. Yeah I know this sounds cringe and edgy, but that's my mind, I needed some sort of creative outlet. Today hit different I guess, I won't go too much into detail of what happened, but it's what lead me to this song. And man, this song just... it fits perfectly. I needed that bittersweet ting in my ears. I remember when I finally saw my dad and he surprised me while I was treasure hunting with my friends. This song. This song holds so much beautiful memories I've lost as I aged. Some of these memories I've lost were only so attainable by specific games and music. Once I list to these, I remember. I remember so much stuff I've forgotten. I have no idea how long it's been since I heard this song, but hearing it again I can so clearly remember a lot of great childhood moments. I wish I could go back and just sit for hours playing this game like I used to, bundle up at the computer desk on a rainy night and listen to the music until my mom says its time for bed. For a flash game to have such good music and story is kind of mind boggling, and thinking back I'm pretty sure this game in particular is what inspired me to try and make songs and games of my own- not that I've ever done anything good hah- but still it's strange that it's had such an impact on me. I remember riding my scooter to school with groups of my friends like Abby and Nathaniel and we would eat breakfast at her place like cereal. My grandma would wake me up and gift me with some nice warm chocolate milk every morning because she knew I love her chocolate milks. They always made my day. I remember swimming at that pool a lot and going to after school daycare with Ms Lidia and playing on the park and swinging by that spinning shit. I remember pretending to be magical creatures and we'd like make stupid potions by the flowers we so on the ground LMFAO. I remember my friend Jaylin and having a crush on her. I remember when I finally saw my dad and he surprised me while I was treasure hunting with my friends. This song. This song holds so much beautiful memories I've lost as I aged. Some of these memories I've lost were only so attainable by specific games and music. Once I list to these, I remember. I remember so much stuff I've forgotten. I feel so nostalgic and happy and sad and hurt. Young me experienced so many wonderful things with a child love discovery I'll never have again. My childhood is over. I'm not a kid anymore. I'm an adult. And yet I still have that same love when I meet new people, meet my friends and hang out with them, and just feeling that peace and euphoria. It feels like the universe is embracing me with warm love. This game and THIS song specifically has brought me so much happiness and hope since I was young and really helped me go through very dark times. I feel like crying like "finally, we finally made it. We're here. Thank you" because I'm still alive. I never knew I'll make it past 13 and now I'm 18, soon to be 19. It's been 5 years since I've been bakeracted. I'm about to start hormones and get top surgery, I moved out of my mom's place and finally have a, somewhat, healthy relationship with her. You have a loving poly relationship, you're finally becoming who you are. I'm proud of you bro. Life is just such a beautiful thing. I love this song man.

I have no idea how long it's been since I heard this song, but hearing it again I can so clearly remember a lot of great childhood moments. I wish I could go back and just sit for hours playing this game like I used to, bundle up at the computer desk on a rainy night and listen to the music until my mom says its time for bed. For a flash game to have such good music and story is kind of mind boggling, and thinking back I'm pretty sure this game in particular is what inspired me to try and make songs and games of my own- not that I've ever done anything good hah- but still it's strange that it's had such an impact on me. If I could I'd just go back in time and talk with my past self, tell her to listen to the music a little longer, and sit beside her bundled up at midnight again.

This music bring me to tears. It was 2009. Everything was perfect. My parents were together, we had a beautiful house, a car and we were a very loving family. I was 10. I used to play this game on my computer. Then after sometime everything fell down. Family was broken. We became poor. No car, no house. No father. Just us 3 siblings and our mother in a new house from that point on and her working all day to feed us. Im sorry im very sad when listening to this.
