One small (maybe pedantic) point: Twelve is a 2 digit number comprised of 1x10 + 2x1. 0.12 is an entirely different number and should always be read as 'zero point one two' not 'zero point twelve'.

120k is an off-the-shelf value, don't need 100k + 2 x 10k.. It may be spelled kilo-ohm but it is pronounced kill-ohm. The first "o" is silent. Just like meg-ohm.

In the circuit you have drawn, the common pin of R1 and R2 is connected to which pin of ic 555.
