as someone who lives in Tennessee and has traveled to many of those places, I just want to say how much I love your knowledgeable input on everything. This sounds like it was such a fun trip.
I'm glad you've compared the two museums! I'm not a history grad but I did grew up going to loads of museums and my parents always stressed the importance of the takeaway. I lived in New Orleans for 5 years and I'm so glad you enjoyed the Deep South! So so so so much still needs to change though the culture is undeniable
This video made me realize that I really want to go on a holiday - this year has just been too much work. Anway, I got some holiday vibes through this video, so thank you! Really happy you had a nice trip!
I was in Jackson, Mississippi and New Orleans in August. I miss it so much, seeing this clog bought back all the memories! Looks like you had an amazing time xx
Lovely video! I don't know why but when that guy said his son was a doctor, I imagined Lizzie from the Lizzie Bennet Diaries doing a imitation of her mom saying 'he's a well mannered young man from Harvard, working to become a doctor' in a really Southern accent and it seemed quite fitting...
I love the way you edited this vlog! I've never really explored the deep South of the US (I'm from the Midwest), so this was fun. And even more fun from a British perspective :D
Love your travel vlogs! I'm going traveling in 18 months and I'm still deciding where to go, so your vlogs are an awesome insight into different places! I'd definitely love to see a vlog of Toronto
Thanks for this Hannah! A friend and I will be travelling across America next September, stopping in New Orleans and Austin, so seeing this got me REALLY EXCITED. Hope you have fun in Toronto and yes please film it! Xxxx
hey another amazing vlog, trek America looks amazing .. anyone whose been on one before know how much you'd actually need on top of the trip... like food and sizzle cause after watching that I wanna go!!!!
I live near the Smokey Mtns so this was weird and interesting to see! Glad you had fun! & got to try lots of moonshine! I love the soaked cherries personally.
So cool that you are doing a Trek across the south! Not many folks want to visit America and go to the south! Also, if y'all drove from Nola to Birmingham then y'all def drove through my hometown of Meridian, MS. Also, Nashville is my fave but the history and culture in Memphis is also amazing!
I love Nashville TN. You were kind of close to my hometown, Vincennes, Indiana (Yes, the sister city to the one in France. I believe people have made t-shirts about traveling between the two). Fort Vincennes and Fort Knox were the bargaining chips used to gain the Northwest Territories after the Revolutionary War. There's a monument in Vincennes with the full story of how they were captured. It's supposed to be the largest monument outside of Washington D.C. too. Vincennes doesn't take long to explore, but if you like history it might be worth stopping by for a day or less. If you did go through Indiana, I'd say visit Bloomington and Indy. Bloomington is kind of a hidden jewel in Indiana. The state parks are fun too, there's canoeing and zip-lining in Turkey Run. There's a whole Hoosier Forest to explore too with horseback riding and what not. We also have the covered bridge festivals in Indiana too around this time of year with various vendors who make and sell their own goods. Glad you had fun, and safe travels. I'd love to see Toronto and Canada. I hear it's beautiful.
Great video! 1. Pleeeaaase, where is your necklace from? 2. What happened, did the son of that man turn up after all? :D 3. Yes please Toronto travel vlog.
Hey ! , something like this right ?? my friend also has one , can get from many diff stores you might know this one though www.etsy.com/nz/listing/252938730/globe-necklace-world-map-necklace-world?ref=market www.amazon.com/MJartoria-World-Charm-Pendant-Necklace/dp/B013WXG3WA
I really really enjoyed watching this!! Probs is I'm never visiting the USA so at least I saw some of it on your vlog, not just L.A like in other people's vlogs haha. xx
omg Hannah you make me want to go traveling so badly!! I love your world map necklace and I've totally been on the same swamp tour when I was in Louisiana!
I did the Atlantic BLT trek tour earlier this year and this took me right back! Want to do it all over again now! Lovely video, reminds me I'm still yet to finish mine 😁🙈
I'm so happy you got to visit the Deep South, and you hit all the major cities, I think. If you plan on coming back, I'd recommend Athens, GA (great music scene, probably the second best in the south to Nashville) and also Savannah (especially in the fall or spring!). Looks like you had a blast.
Oh I stayed in that hotel in Memphis the pool was so gross hope it was better for you! You should have gone to bass pro shop in Memphis it's amazing, sunset from the top is incredible and it's a pretty weird store
If you're looking for breakfast places when you visit Toronto, you've got to go to Aunties and Uncles! Plus it's close to Kensington Market, which is a must :)
OMG! I know Cameryn Moore! Though my husband knows her better because he is very involved with Fringe Festivals and knows her from that. I met her last summer or summer before when she was here (Victoria, BC Canada) and she is a great lady.
Cameron Moore was in Manchester in the Northern Quarter last year, just chilling on Oldham street just handing out some good old fashioned smut. What a lady
Having been a Brit in Memphis and seen both Graceland and the National Civil Rights Museum too, I thought I'd put my two cents in on those places: 1) Graceland! Definitely worth a visit, even if you're not a big Elvis fan; it's an eclectic mix of Elvis's songs, life, cars, and a very interesting take on interior decoration... Did you see the blond Elvis photo? 2) NCRM: probably one of the better museums I've been to. Especially as you see the whole story from slavery, the Thirteenth Amendment, and up to today as you mentioned. The seeming devolution of lawmakers and society with the segregation and the "Jim Crow Laws" era really pissed me off. I pretty sure I actually muttered "Oh come on guys, what the fuck!" to myself in the museum... It's kind of like the museum version of "Schindler's List": excellent but a bit harrowing.
Ahhhh!!! You came to Tennessee! I live in the Great Smoky Mountains. Totally hoped you enjoyed our very strange tourist town and the moonshine. If you come again, you need to go to Dollywood in Pigeon Forge and also to a University of Tennessee football game because it's legit a religion in the South.
I'm so glad you enjoyed Memphis. I was so excited when I saw Graceland tickets on your Snapchat. I am totally bummed I didn't run into in downtown though! Maybe next time..
A Toronto vlog is probably going to be super fun, so... Sure! (also I'm kinda jealous because that trip looked super fun and I have no money to spare for a trip like that xD)
I just love that you went to Coop's, which is my favourite place to be in New Orleans. Frenchmen St market too! Did you know that BA flies to New Orleans from Heathrow non-stop now? Also, NoLa has a large Jewish population, unlike most of the South.
i live just north of Birmingham and originally from Georgia! so my stomping grounds lol great to see you in the deep south hannah haha hope u enjoyed it!!
While you were in Birmingham, Alabama you should have stopped into Saturn it's a coffee shop /bakery /cereal shop and the best concert venue in Birmingham all in one.
Merp I'm sad that I didn't know you were in Memphis recently. I'm a Memphian viewer of yours! I would have loved to go out for drinks with you or something but I'm glad you had fun here in the south!
I have just found your channel and absolutely love it. It's so varied and interesting. You seem really nice. I've just come back from a California road trip and will have vlogs up soon. Just subbed to you :)
I love Tennessee! I went a few years ago for a bachelorette and it was amazing. I've been to that place with the moonshine! Some of them are super gross but the apple pie is delicious. If you ever go to the Dominican go zip lining it is amazing!
I LOVE Cameron! I'm so excited you got to meet her! I haven't experienced her erotica on demand, but her shows are life-changing. She's also really easy to talk to and super friendly (as I'm sure you noticed). ❤️
ahhhhh!! i had no idea you were here in alabama! and if you went from birmingham to gatlinburg you literally drove through my city!! like on a highway but still
I absolutely love riding horses, and I totally get the whole outfitters who take inexperienced riders on trails. I know that horses have to be really calm and safe but you should of been wearing a helmet. The facility should of given the people helmets, not only because it's an insurance thing but the clients have no idea what they're doing as riders so accidents are more likely to happen. I'm not blaming you or anything because again your not an experienced rider but it's sketchy for the farm not to have it as a must to wear them.
im just now watching this video and i am so shook???? you were in mississippi?? AT DEEP SOUTH POPS!!! thats like one of my favorite places, i'm from jackson, MS, wish i would've run into y'all that would've been wild.
Hannah is so outgoing I'm getting second-hand anxiety from all the conversing with strangers.
LIAR!!!!
As a historian myself, love your passion and dissection of the historical elements of the museums.
The marching of the ducks was easily my favourite part of seeing your trip
***** Haha you should have seen my face when I saw it! It looks like a religious experience.
Awwww I'm so glad we got to spend time with you! We miss you, Hannah!
Rusty Clanton hey rustyyy
as someone who lives in Tennessee and has traveled to many of those places, I just want to say how much I love your knowledgeable input on everything. This sounds like it was such a fun trip.
Of course we want more travel vlogs! That's not a question! Also, very cool trip!
All of the travel vlogs make me so happy! They're just so fun and all I want to do after is hop in my car and visit somewhere new!
I don't think I have enjoyed watching a vlog more than I do yours. Such a great personality and I like the editing.
Where's the necklace from that you're wearing in most of this? i love it!
yeah is so pretty
I agree. So unusual.
Modcloth has it listed. Hope that helps :) .
Cool, thanks
love the necklace!! Never heard of Modcloth but it has so many awesome pieces!

Thanks for this Hannah! A friend and I will be travelling across America next September, stopping in New Orleans and Austin, so seeing this got me REALLY EXCITED. Hope you have fun in Toronto and yes please film it! Xxxx

I love Hannah's travel vlogs
I did the Atlantic BLT trek tour earlier this year and this took me right back! Want to do it all over again now! Lovely video, reminds me I'm still yet to finish mine 😁🙈
LOVE THIS. I actually live in Birmingham, AL! I hope you enjoyed your trip to the south!
I live in Vidalia, LA, right across the river from Natchez! I work in natchez and go to the saloon pretty often! I hope you liked our town!
I'm so happy you got to visit the Deep South, and you hit all the major cities, I think. If you plan on coming back, I'd recommend Athens, GA (great music scene, probably the second best in the south to Nashville) and also Savannah (especially in the fall or spring!). Looks like you had a blast.
I went to Gatlinburg last Halloween and it's one of the weirdest places I've ever been! But beautiful!
Just found your channel and loving it! Another travel vlog would be awesome :)

This vlog has reallyyyyy made me want to do a tour of the deep south!
No Cafe Du Monde or haunted history tour in New Orleans?! What!! I love NOLA. Need to go back!
There was so much more to see and do in New Orleans. You definitely need a tour of the Mercedes Superdome it's awesome. You are so cute!
Please do vlog Toronto !! I would love to see some of Buffer Festival :)
Having been a Brit in Memphis and seen both Graceland and the National Civil Rights Museum too, I thought I'd put my two cents in on those places:

I love living in London now, but this video made me miss my deep-south home in the best of ways
Very cool and interesting vid Hannah. I had to subscribe
You should do a video reading out your erotica story!
I loved the whole video but especially your time in New Orleans! My husband and I honeymooned there!
