Danny this tour & review is a really beautiful tribute to your family & connection to this ship. With your daughter cruising, this passion for ships is now multi generational. My grandma & great aunt got me hooked on cruising. Of the lines sailing now, Viking Ocean takes the cake for me. I love everything about their onboard product presentation. It's almost a spiritual experience. Your well presented personal review now has me curious about Crystal!

I'm not exactly sure how your videos starting popping up for me but I'm so glad they did. Your ship tours are truly different than what I've seen with other cruise YT channels. I love that they are long and in depth. You CLEARLY know what you're talking about. Especially with the luxury lines. I really appreciate your knowledge and the work your team puts into making these videos. I'd love if you and your staff would consider doing a live AMA at some point.

Thankfully, it wasn't. The Symphony was bought at auction alongside Serenity by Abercrombie & Kent Travel Group which plans to relaunch both ships along with the Crystal Cruises brand in 2023!
At 16:52 "you can't bring anything with a heating element on board" does that include your own hair dryer and curling iron??
Those include heating elements, so yes.

Danny, do you go on maiden voyages when a new cruise ship is launched? How many cruise ships have you been on? Keep up the good work with the videos!
We do get on many of the inaugural cruises and are always excited for the invite. Our next is Virgin Voyages and we are really excited to see what they were able to do with this entirely new concept. I have cruised over 100 times with 800 plus days at sea. I believe I have toured around 400 cruise and river vessels over the last 20 years.
I went on this boat in 1997 for a month it was nice but I was in my 20s and everybody was old because you need I guess 30 grand I head to go for that long in1997

YES SIR! This is my Favorite Ship of all time. I know EXACTLY what you are trying to portray when touring the Crystal Symphony. An elegance beyond belief and a service level that is rivaled by none for a ship in her class. 850 passengers. I Sailed on her in May of 1999 for my honeymoon. Lisbon to Rome. I haven't been on a cruise or ship that comes near to what the Symphony has to offer. If you sailed on her as a young man, which it seems like you did, it is a difficult product to beat. Thank you for giving the tour. There are many changes that I see from 1995. She is an absolute beauty! I can't wait to sail on her again. Stay safe all!

Great review as always. I have been on many cruise ships but never cruised. I was always afraid of the crowds. I like that fact that you mentioned the passenger ratio of this ship is reasonable. Maybe a smaller ship is the way to go for my wife and I. 👍
The smaller ships such as the Symphony, and Serenity definitely have a much more relaxed feel to them. But a lot of that comes from the brand and the guest ratio. Many other cruise lines have small ships, but they have to stick to that space ratio.

I went on Crystal Serenity on my first ever 14 day cruise, it's the best. 🤩🤩🤩Simply top brand of the cruising sector. Yes it's expensive, but I like the fact that it's not crowded . Fewer passengers and luxurious classy brand. More of a different type of passengers, who are older, and have money . And they expect the best. There were of course younger people and children around too. Amenities and entertainment catered for all. Certainly not your Royal Caribbean sort of cruising. 😊. I have not tried the other ships in the Crystal brand yet, but would be keen to see how they differ🤔😊

I would love to see comparison videos! For example: price/quality of service/entertainment/food/destinations/boat size, etc etc. I have never been on a cruise, but after watching many of your videos, I'm seriously tempted to try it out at least once and see from there. I'm a bit anxious about the added cost of airplanes tickets as we live in Montreal, Canada and unless I am mistaken, we would need to travel just to get to the cruise, which would add to the cost of the cruise itself. What would you suggest for a middle class couple with no children? We want entertainment but peace and quiet at the same time. Thanks in advance!
Thankn you so much! We will be adding in different types of videos as we progress. "Best" is always a tricky question, since there is a best for every individual. Looking at the experiences while in port should be where you look first (where you want to sail) then see who sails there.

Great job showing all of this wonderful ship's features. We have sailed on the Symphony a few times, with our last cruise being January 2019, New Orleans to Rio. The only "issue" we had was with the allowed smoking on one side of the pool. There was always someone that would smoke right next to the pool and a few times we had to call the crew to ask them to have these smokers move back to their designated area. Other than that, hard to beat the great service, spaces, and food on this ship!

This is a great review of a fascinating cruise line. How would you compare Crystal to Regent Seven Seas or Seabourn or Silversea?
We have a full tour of the Seven Seas Explorer, check that one out. In short, they all have incredible staff c and amenities. They are just different styles of amazing service.
You have done a perfect presentation on this and i am sure you can do this for any ship. The fact that you sail this one befor makes your presentation even more interesting..you did a better job at this then the cruise line, no disrespect to them . in what you did , you are gold. Thank you

My family will never afford to go on a cruise unless we win the lottery. So depressing.
Cruising can be incredibly affordable depending on your availability.
Harr Travel We are always available. But a cruise is just something that will never happen. Same goes for Disney. I’m 40 years old and have never done anything like this and my kids are already teenagers. So unfortunately neither a Cruise or Disney will probably never happen.

@@ronaldaiello6450 Carnival offers some very affordable vacations. I'd encourage you to work with a travel agent as they can maximize the value of every dollar.
More facts and less fawning would make this more effective...and credible. The opinion stuff is offputting.
Crystal is all about the experience, without context about the crew and the experience it is just a hunk of metal with random decorations and furniture.
