Thank you for leaving the removal in. I personally find it super satisfying to watch. The end result is gorgeous as always, I love your work every time.
Love all ur acrylic application videos!! This set turned out super super cute!! I need to become faster with my whole process fr. Sometimes I take forever it seems like.. I've been recommending the small mandral to everyone who has clients with super small nail beds. I find it so so much easier then the bigger one for beginners!!
Bless UPS Vee : 💅🏽👑 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾💖💞 I will be incorporating these designs in my next set! Waiting on a New Tool 😊, Arrives today or tomorrow! I have a few 💅🏽👑 observations! #1 Does your client like her downward curve nails!? That can be corrected! Also Use a slip layer of clear before using colored Acrylics! It's been a minute since I have watched one of your videos! N'Joying This as Always! Thank you, Vee!;)PEACE
I love your work and all of your designs, but can you tell me what is the first song with the guitars in the video. Usually I don’t pay attention to them, but this was so nice to listen 🥰❤️ thank you
I have a questions whats ur thoughts on just using a clear or nude for all nails n just using polishes? Also advise on the most opeg covers and polishes
How would I price backfills, would it be as much as a full set because of all of the work? I’ve tried doing research but most techs prefer soaking off or sticking with same base. I’d rather do this method honestly, any help is appreciated ❤
I would charge the same as a full set. You are completely removing the existing acrylic and placing new acrylic. It's actually more work than a full set because of the removal process, where with a full set you start with naked nails or charge extra for the soak off. It takes the same amount of product as a full set because you are essentially starting from scratch. Its also time consuming. While having your client do a soak off is a passive process that allows them to sit to the side while you do other work, a back fill requires your time to be tied up the whole time which means you can't multi task for the 30 min to an hour it takes them to do the soak off. That impacts your bottom line for the day because that 30 min to an hour could have been a different client's pedicure or fill in etc that you now lost money on because you couldn't book that time. The e-file process replaces the soak off, but if you had done a soak off instead of the efile the new acrylic you would lay would definitely be considered a new set. Essentially it's 2 different ways to do a removal and apply new acrylic. The process shouldn't matter, its still a removal and fresh application. Doing a fill costs less because you skip the removal, you leave the existing acrylic and apply a small amount near the cuticle. It's less work and uses less product to do a fill. It also takes less time to do a fill than a back fill or soak off would. We all know time is money in the beauty industry. So those are the things I would consider when pricing and that's the way I would explain or justify it to a client when they question you....because there is always a Karen who thinks they can skirt around your prices
Also kiara sky and glam and glitz are decent like u said. Modelones I hated. The colors r like a clay texture. The white I couldn't use at all. It was like nothing I ever used. Kiara sky and glam is easy to work with once u get them down. Modelones I would never recommend for colors. Their glitters are good but colors no thanks!! But thanks for letting us know all the acrylics u use. Cause its annoying always seeing people promote or use just one brand. I get everyone has their own thing but I love seeing variety!!!
I haaaate glam and glitz colors but I don't mind Kiara sky. I think the formula is better with KS. I'm with you on modelones. I threw that stuff out and I never do that cause I have friends that can use it but no one can use that stuff in my opinion lol
