Keith Richards is just too COOl, no one will ever match him in that department, his voice, clothes, hair & mannerisms, smart and articulate; not to mention the music! 💋
it is as if he was born with some mysterious quality that means no matter how old he is, and no matter what generation you belong to, it is impossible to percieve him as anything other than cool. he just has a quality that you cannot put your finger on in terms of 'coolnes'. he should be 'uncool' to so many people, yet he is not.
I love Keith Richards, he's phenomenal and a 1st class performer and entertainer 🎉🎉. He's intelligent, inspiring, humble, funny,cool,laid-back, and honest ❤️ 💙 He's no frills no glitz he's down to earth. He's a 1st class act and always will be ❤❤
Thank you Hank, like your Mallow video too. When I met Keith, he had been out the night before - but playing chess with his father... Walking back in the streets of London, he was spotted by a police patrol, who thought he looked like a hobo, but realized he was Keith from the Stones and offered him a lift home.
@@freeporttraveler Glad you enjoyed “The Rakes of Mallow” video… Went for a Stonsey guitar vibe in there, too… Keith swings and slings a guitar like no one else…great you got to hang with him!
Thank you, Mike. Keith was really cool entering the room. Actually I asked him to kick open the door to the hotel room - but the cameraman was not quick enough to catch that part of his act. All the best. Karsten
I always was amused by photos of the 2 Keith's - Richards + Moon. If you look at both of them at the beginning of each respective band's photos - you'll see, I think, that both of them looked the youngest. Both fresh faced, or baby faced. Now contrast that with photos of them in the mid '70s (a full decade later) they both look like the oldest and most weary. See drugs aren't that bad 🤨
Stones didn’t make and real money till 1989 …. Best thing that happens were there solo careers cause it made them realize they can’t sell without each other
A contrast that I see in Keith now that I never noticed back then because I had nothing to compare to. I'm referring to Keith's smile. If you see interviews of Keith NOW he's always smiling or laughing when he's interviewed. Contrast that with the Heroin scowl. Being a former I'm familiar with it. It's not that you're consciously miserable but it's a grind, even for a rich cat like Keith. It's a grind, knowing that even if you have stuff for tomorrow and the next day you're acutely aware that it's going to run out and you are going to have to deal with copping - and that's ALWAYS a risky proposition plus it takes an effort to lift all those things. Your Eyelids, the corners of your mouth and your cheeks. Too much work. 😂 I hope I haven't offended anyone or made it harder even a little for anyone trying to kick. I wonder if Keith actually kicked or went on the juice😵💫
Shout out to Ben Johnson...this interview must have been just after the 88 summer Olympics in Seoul, Korea, when Ben got busted for steroids...I guess Keef could somewhat relate...
I honestly think live 78’ was probably the best tour. Keith relatively off of heroin and Mick had his voice back. The some girls songs went over so well live, and they were out to prove it every night. Plus they had just gotten their hands on the Boogie’s amps
Yes on reflection they were brilliant in '78 Tour too Jesse, even though the sound to me at least was a bit tinny they didn't play Europe in 78 it's the only tour I'v missed since '76 in London, but I upgraded the Texas ,'78 show to Blu ray so I must like, I love the Voodoo 94/ 95 shows also got both the Joe Robbie Stadium Miami show and live in Japan on Blu-ray 💎🎸🕺

His looks kept improving from youth to mature age and thus he caught up with Mick and then even...
To cool, just way to cool, shall we say.

What I love about Keith? EVERYTHING 😊
I like the tone of Keith's voice and when he is speaking I find he has a calming effect on me.

Keith has been astounding and brilliant since the start.
Love Keith he's alway's so amazing my fav
He’s so cool
Keith's moves and voice are as soft and delicate as velvet.
Many thanks for recording and sharing this lovely interview.
Keith has a way of walking in the room and sitting down.
It's all very affected
Exactly, it’s called straight up, Swagger.

That IS how he moves !!
Others make the mistake of trying to adopt it 😄
Don’t we all
Yeh, he uses his locomotory appendages to move around.
Wow. How can this be 35 years ago?😭
Yes - quite incredible… I saw Stones 10 times even after this interview🎸
, sadly it is. I just looked in the mirror and I'm 35 years older. Yikes.
😔”time waits for no one”🎵
The prototype of a cool rock star, Keith wrote the book.
Excellent! Thank you for this
And I saw that tour with like 10,000 closest X-pensive Winos fans in Pittsburgh, Pa @ A J. Palumbo Center.

Very well said. God Bless you and your family and friends.
I'm 20 years younger than Keith and haven't done 1% of the stuff he has. But I fully expect him to outlive me.

Keith was way much more humble and cooler back then
Beautiful Barnet, Keith old bean

Drinking whiskey with Keith,how appropriate!
Keith always looks like he just shot up some smack, too cool!
He's just a regular guy with strengths and weaknesses just like the rest of us. He's not be venerated like some kind of saint.
But he is a God
In the title I read ; Keith Richard … iso Richards!
When he was young he called himself Keith Richard for some reason
You don’t go to prison anymore? .... “ no I sign autographs for policemen “ 😎

I can't watch an interview with Keith Richards without thinking of the recurring Mike Myers' SNL sketch.
