Finally someone who understand that the climax part isn't all about Jenna just being sad, I'm sure Mori also knows that she's also mad that's why her growls were very necessary to some parts, but other reactors do not see that, they're all on about the sadness. That part where she puts in a growl in the 'GETS USED' part made me see flashbacks from the movie where Jenna's husband were doing terrible things.

Wonderful reaction! Yes Morissette has the pyrotechnics....but she is an extraordinary vocal interpreter. So few singers understand how to find the character and the "event" of the song and Morissette does both. Not sure if she could do 8 shows a week....but if she could it would be amazing!
She can't probably do eight show per week but she can do 29 to 30 plus song with dancing and rapping in a single concert performance.watch her different full concert performance you were really amazed, unfatiguegable voice till the concert ends.New subbs here by the way.

Hi James, haven't heard from you in a long time. I love that you're back. I totally agree with everything you said about Mori's interpretation, from how she showed how vulnerable the character was in the beginning down to her showing those powerful growls to show a character who's angry with the world. I came across a lot of self-claimed vocal coaches who said that Mori used lots of growls which to them were not necessary in the song, I felt bad how easy it was for them to say that. I just thought maybe they were reacting in a theatrical perspective. After watching you reacted to this, I was in great relief that someone like you who has pop and musical theater background explained how Mori's cover is on point. Thank you.
