The support site has it: www.zebra.com/us/en/support-downloads/mobile-computers.html If it is for the TC52, go to the TC52 support page: www.zebra.com/us/en/support-downloads/software/operating-system/tc52-operating-system-for-gms-devices.html Look for you OS, and get the files under the title FACTORY AND ENTERPRISE RESET FILES
No one needs to know how to actually update it, this doesn't need explained to people. People want the actual update files themselves. A lot of people have Zebra devices that they have purchased second hand, with no way of updating them, because Zebra has a very poor method of supporting their devices. In my opinion, by requiring people to have an prohibitively expensive contract in order to have updates, they just alienate themselves, and only hurt their users. This literally just creates more e-waste. a Perfectly usable device that can't be updated past an extremely old version of Android just becomes useless after a while. It could be updated, but Zebra wants money from you in order to do that.
Sorry for your frustration. There are inexpensive options for Software Only support to get you to the latest version for the devices you have. Be aware, some devices sold second hand are assembled by third parties using non-Zebra parts, there is a chance an update may not work anyways. Unfortunately these OS updates go through extensive Security and Validation processes which have a cost behind them and therefore unfortunately cannot be free. They have to meet the high standards for Zebra Hardware products. You may be unaware, Zebra has a program to re-furbish old products so they do not have to be e-wasted, and customers can purchase those old devices that have been validated by Zebra, so that customer with existing older devices can have access to similar devices running older versions of the Android operating system. Some probably still run on Gingerbread.
Mine says os update not allowed???
I am not sure. Might be best to call the help desk. Check the support section at Zebra.com.
