I was complete opposite of most korn fans. I discovered them late. This was the 1st album i fell in love with. The 2nd was issues. Then the 1st album. It just kept getting better for me lol

I love the Grungy, Heavy, and Dirty sounds -- musically and vocally on "Bottled up Inside". This whole album is an amazing experience with high quality speakers or headphones.

This album encompasses everything great of the prime era of Korn albums; while also being an album thats easily digestible and a good gateway for people who arent familiar with korn, and that are from more mellow parts of the rock/metal world.

I was 19 when this album released and I was at the peak of my Korn fandom. Great memories of those days 20 years ago.
Korn, saving lives since 1994. Happy 20th anniversary Untouchables, still a top 5 albums for me, still hard, heavy and badass.
I remember listening to this album countless times on my walkman. I was XIV years old back then.
I was 19 years old when this album released. Great memories of those days long gone 20 years ago. This takes me back. I'm glad Korn are still around and they still put on a killer live show too. One of my favorite bands that I held on to after all these years.

The last bonafide "classic" album from KoRn! Everything after had tracks that were hits or misses! At least the First Five were things you could listen to all the way through... 🤘🍻
I think Follow the leader, Issuies, Untouchables and TALINTM at the same level. Best of Korn and modern Nu Metal.
Issuies, Untouchables are my personal choice.

I think Take A Look In the Mirror was their last great album, more like "Untouchables Bonus Tracks" because it came out the next year and had a very simlar sound, very heavy and lots of background vocals, something which was never done after that album. Plus Head left after Mirror and Korn was never the same again, even today with Head back in the band.
ummm...not sure if i'd say Follow the Leader is stright thru listenable nowadays! The hip hip tracks are outdated and the Limp Biz collab is cheezy af. Personally, I consider both Issues and Untouchables to be far more listenable.
Serenity of Suffering and The Nothing are pretty damn good too

Gah lee! I was a baby boy when this album came out!! Saw them live when I was 12 ! My sister took me to see them 2002 pop sux tour I let out so much pain and hate that night it was unbelievable couldn’t talk for three days my voice was gone!! Lol 34 bout to be 35 an this album still fucking rocks.

I got this album copied in Ireland and there was an extra track that was class but not even sure if it was korn. Similar vibe but a little bit more rap style but not really rap too. Wish I still had the copy to upload the track

Je me réécoute les albums de ma jeunesse, alors bah c'est pas mauvais mais c'est quand même pas ouf! comme chaque album de korn en fait. 4/5 titres qui sortent du lots et le reste... En fait cet album est juste un mix qui regroupe la "noirceur" de issues avec les riffs lourds de l'album éponyme mais avec des samples vraiment horribles, ça ressemble à rien. Là ou issues "excellait" avec ses samples, untouchables le plombe sur les titres de merdes. Alors untouchables pas si mal et c'est en gros le même résultat d'y il a 20 ans, du bon et de la grosse bouse, mais comme chaque album de korn en vrai

@@snakeplissken2428 Ok alors si tu sort Here to stay, Thoughtless (qui sans son refrain reste un titre lambda) One more time, Embrace, Beat It Upright (qui reste mauvais mais avec un son ultra lourd que j'affectionne particulièrement ) Même saveur pour I'm hiding une intro très prometteuse et un riff ultra lourd mais je suis désolé ça passa pas... trop de break qui n'ont ni queue ni tête. L'album est excellent selon toi? No One's There est un excellent titre, du coup j'ai révisé mon jugement (merci j'ai réécouté du coup l'album) Donc je vois 3 titres excellents et 2 potables (en fait c'est pareil...) mais libre à toi d'apprécier, je ne juge personne j'ai juste des goût bizarres en musique...

Honestly, I'm surprised at the number of people saying this is a good album. I found it deep shit then and relistened to it today to see if I had missed something back then. Still shit. So shallow, uninspired, Davis just wanted to experiment with stuff and the band was lost in either meth or rehab.
The reception at the time was so bad, Korn had to first lie by saying that the leaked songs were demo tracks (they were denying their own creation!!), and when it was published they fired the producer. So, me and most other Korn fans, as well as Korn itself, found it shit, and I stand by this statement. The composition and execution add nothing to the world of music.
I guess it's all just a matter of taste, man. There's probably so many albums you like that other people would laugh in your face about and I doubt you'd be very appreciative of that. The band happens to consider this one of their favorite albums and a lot of the fan base agrees. I'm not one to typically hold bias towards the popular opinion but it must all mean something 🤷

Honestly i miss the grooves on drums and bass. Guitar riffs and counterpoints on vocals are ok, but, according Korn language: they should be more groovin.
