Okayu didn't start like that but she's been more open with her ero side for a few years now (at least since she got her fourth costume with the long shirt and Schrödinger's pantsu) and although I can't confirm it from my own experience, her member ASMRs are said to be very effective in evoking certain thoughts and feelings.

They've been unhinged from the start but would get unexpected hits from TH-cam thus some, like Marine, have been more careful with her antics because she has had multiple warnings (from TH-cam) already. Another big hit could ban her account. Kanata's been that way for years too thus the "I'm not a lesbian, mom" meme. Matsuri's unhinged since the Fubuki pairing dissolved. Choco has been teasing the system for years and of course, Coco.
A lot of things we blame Cover for being too uptight with their content are actually them tip-toeing around TH-cam's inconsistent ban hammer.
