I’ve shattered the tips of several Dewalt max fit bits. Supposedly the flex torque are good but I’ve never tried them.
I’ve never broken a shockwave bit. Makita gold are also very good.

The shockwave bits are no different than Bosch, DeWalt or any of the other tips. I don't know what they're talking about last longer.

Depends on which Dewalt bits you’re talking about. I’ve shattered the tips on so many of the max fit.
Flex torque are supposed to be good, but I stick with shockwave or Makita gold. Both are nearly indestructible.

@@jeffreywolf5235 I’m just saying that I’ve shattered the max fit specifically. I was building something at work out of 2X4s and 4X4s.
I’ve never tried max impact or flex torque.
I had some shockwave bits I got free with my Milwaukee set. I’ve never broken one of them.
If you like Dewalt bits, then keep using them. I was stating my personal experience with them.

It’s because they work their butts off to support their families, but don’t get paid enough to also fix their teeth.
