All of Western Culture, has been taught to ignore our own individual liberty, and no the opposite of individual liberty, communism and china are the center of the world. We still have a choice to reject china ideology and embrace our own liberty,---but we don't know anything about our own liberty. At the moment and for the last 40 plus years, we are being sold as slaves to china. I think we picked the wrong center of the world.

Honestly, even that $5k scooter isn't a bad price if you live in the city. Way cheaper than a car, no gas and no insurance or registration fees. (yet) The only disadvantage being limitations imposed by the weather.

I never imagined they'd make one the size of a basketball...and under 40 lbs...for $800!
I have been riding motorcycles my whole life and I don't recall having to dust myself off after riding. (MX not included obviously)
All pretty great, however I think the last one, Boozter, is the game changer. Folds small. Anyone with kids knows that when you go out a walk, you're carrying whatever scooter/bike/skateboard/balance bike etc etc they bring! 😂 Fold it up & stick it in a bag. Job done

Most of these vehicles are for young people with athletic dexterity to boot. Can you imagine a 60-year-old using any of them for routine transport? That's where this needs to go.
Jrat Customs eBike looks nice... until you see the rider's awkward posture. The foot rest really needs a redesign.
