Argentina is all of that and it showed in the wc final. They lacked offensive wingers on the bench that can step on France’s neck like Di Maria did. R9 used a range of dribbling not seen and yet to be be replicated to date. At age 21 r9 had 240 goals, messi 129 and cr7 98.. Had it not been for those devastating knee injuries his career would have been something else. Watch the 100 skills r9 did and compare it to messi you would get a glimpse of what I'm saying. Basically r9 was a player with messi's dribbling, Neymar's skill, cr7 goal scoring ability and mbappe's pace. Too much talent for his knees to handle.

The young man is real good… if he was left footed that will give him a chance to be like Messi… over 90% of players are right footed. Therefore, other players are use to their play stile … being a lefty with the equivalent skills would give a better advantage.

Way too much hype! Claudio Echeverri (17) has the potential to be an excellent player but he is not anything close to even a 16 year old Messi or a 17 year of Ronaldo (R9), Ronaldinho, Neymar, Mbappe etc when they all played in the U17s. Claudio Echeverri is really not that much better than Augustín Ruberto or Paris Brunner in my opinion
Also, a future Messi will have to be much better than players 3 years older and younger. So let's wait and see how well these current 17 year old will perform when they turn 20/21 before we start labelling them as the next greatest player of all times. That being said, I am sure Claudio Echeverri will do very well in his professional career but it is way too early to compare him to Messi.
