I've been in love with the Under Armour Run Cushion socks. They have no show, mid cut, and crew. I wear them with every shoe. They're expensive but they've been holding up well and feel fantastic on foot.
I use SOAR gear for track, tempo, long runs. It's the best kit I've had in the last 5 years (having tried usual Adidas/Asics/NB/Nike stuff). Like you Ed I've found it easy to wash, no lingering smells, and I very much appreciate the details that suit us runners, like laser cut fabric and no nasty seams that rub after 10 miles. Nice designs too.
Your videos are good. You are so chilled and just seen that you are a Little Richard fan. Sadest part of lockdowm was when Little Richard died. He was the king of rock and roll. Eddbud and Little Richard on TH-cam. What more could you ask for? Want the soar vests. Are the soar shorts any good?
Saysky from Copenhagen do good singlets that retail a fair bit cheaper than SOAR and have served me pretty well. Can get some good deals on Saysky singlets throughout the year. Rockay do very good running socks, I like their x-country ones 'Razer' the best.
Saysky singlets suck compared to Nike aeroswift and the SOAR race vest. The Saysky material isn't nearly as breathable and gets super heavy. It's really not even close. Saysky does look great though.
@@leg_snapper Depends what Saysky product you buy. It isn't one kind of material used in all of their singlets. I have some extremely breathable Saysky singlets (more so than any NIKE ones) and some which are of a less breathable nature too.
Nike Trail 3/4 tights are a good addition to the aeroswift half tights for a bit more protection from summer flora and for beach runs. Should be good when the temps drop as well. Socks wise agree with you on Nike where the race options last me 2 or 3 runs before I put holes in them. Jordan dri-fit cushioned are a good shout for a thicker sock and work really well with Nike Gore-Tex models where the upper tends to be a little more roomy compared to the corresponding standard upper version. Might try out the Soar tops although if they come out longer than Nike then I may run into issues as I tend to need a large for my frame but I am only 5'9". Did you fins they came out a lot longer? Perhaps my extra bulk will pull them back up.
Seconding the recommendation for Balega socks which come in various thicknesses and heights. And now I’m even a bigger fan of Stance socks. Both are pricey but worth in my opinion. I don’t know if either brands are available across the pond. Martha

Would love to try these soar models. Been using tracksmith twilight tank and rabbit ez tee perf tops. Love both for hot weather. I can’t do without Rabbit fkt shorts cause of the awesome side storage. Socks - moving away from no show because I keep getting bits of nature in my shoes - crew versions stop that somewhat - Steigen and feetures have some good models.
Yeah! The previous version of aeroswift which are without the pockets are in the outlet store now with a price of 44cad and extra 20% off. We do pay a 13% tax. But overall a good price. Also, if you are collecting, the USA and KENEYA team versions are beautiful!!!!!

It’s a company from Hamburg germany which started with triathlon socks and also went with running socks. They have lightweight and more cushioned socks in 2 different heights and awesome color combinations. They sell now in lots of countries international. Highly recommended👍
I literally have the same shorts in the same color and no pockets interesting also I highly recommend the North face weightless vest it’s been my go to for racing
For shorts/leggings as a female 2xu and sweaty Betty are great. However both are best found on offer as full price is heavy on the earth credits. However washability is high with both brands.
shirt: adidas aeroready, shorts: Arsuxeo, socks: Compressport, Falke, injijji. I was very surprised about my shorts as i never heard of that brand before, found them by luck searching online and are holding up quite well, 4 different colors available.

I can't praise enough my tech pack 2-layer jacket from Nike. It's a vest + separate top with hood & arm sleeves. Back pocket hides the top nicely, on the 🏃♀️
Want to add some SOAR to my wardrobe, my go to gear is ASICS, Salomon, Arcteryx and Marmot. Value to durability my money is always on Salomon though, lasts forever and still looks great after a 1000 washes. Nice picks Ed, I dig those Nike Mick Jagger pants.🏃♂️🤷♂️😳
I'm really rooting for Tracksmith making their move over to the UK/Europe. Like they are such an intriguing company and their gear seems to be absolutely gorgeous, but the tax burden is quite considerable (21% if I'm not mistaken)
actually, they have changed things up and they remove the US VAT before adding up the EU VAT. All import taxes are included in the price you see at checkout. Delivery was super fast too. I used to buy Tracksmith only when travelling to Us, now I do it anytime I fancy :)
Edd clearly Milan and the catwalk is calling 🙌 Don’t discount X socks for runners - in my opinion the best cushioned sock out there. I’ve run in them for 10 years now - if you need to protect your calves or resist fatigue- the full length versions are without peers. So sign of your summer short shorts Edd? Man I need to upgrade my shorts-game… I wear the brooks sherpa 5” pairs but dang in the heat and humidity they are getting drenched and I can hear myself running when they are soaking wet slapping around on my legs
Forget to mention that cycling socks also work very well for running in. Assos are excellent quality with their RS sock working well for racing with minimal thickness and GT Mille/Offroad working well for more everyday use.

Yep… easy one. Everyone knows you could never hold on to a cake long enough to deliver it. Model, eh? Do tell. adidas released a UB protection wicking hat that is amazing as their headband (upcycled materials). They also deliver much goodness with their Own The Run and Free Lift collections… super light and breathable. I also dig the Ultra and Own The Run shorts. Stance infiniknit crew and OTC hosiery for me (despite the prices). ✌🏽💙🏃🏽♂️
Excellent point Edd - shorts should always have space for a small emergency canister of Brut. Or any other 1970s gentleman's fragrance, so as to cater for the Hai Karate or Blue Stratos wearer.

Nike AeroSwift 1/2 length tights are the best. I bought all 4 colors. :). Feetures socks work better for me than any other brand.
