Never mind, looks like the other plates were additions to the drive train. That's on me for not reading the description. But awesome robot nevertheless.
@@ajagtian I would recommend using a motor on a high speed like 3.7 to 1 instead of the vex motor shown here. It can be a lot faster, though this one can work if you really need motors for other things.
@Jack Giebe This is just a prototype using an old VEX control system. It can only run continuous and positional servos out of the box so using a 12V motor would require a lot more hardware.
Quick question on autonomous do you know what people are using for detecting on what level put the pre-load box on I was originally going to use the tensor flow for the code but the detection for it was unreliable Ie it would recognize a white empty space as the yellow cube
We haven't started computer vision this season but were able to use tensor flow last season to detect the rings. We also were able to use the REV color/distance sensor to detect rings so that might be an option.
Peyton thanks , I have few more questions
Reminds the preparation for Eurobot
Wow! A custom milled chassis already! At last it looks like it is specific to this year.

Yeah the whole drivetrain is laser cut plywood from a few years back. The only new parts are the printed intake and the carousel mechanism.
Hi can you share your intake design

@@ajagtian You'd definitely want to test/develop your own intake (probably faster). Here's an image of the intake for inspiration. imgur.com/a/CeKo26G
Why do you use this intake instead of a 3.7 motor spinning surgical tubing like we saw from many of the best robots in rover ruckus?

Do ducks count as freight?
Yes, the definition of Freight in the manual is Cargo, Boxes, and Ducks.
How did you create the star wheels? My team wanted to do something similar, but we couldn't figure out how to make them.
The intake wheels are just an AM compliant wheel with the outer rim cut off.
@@PeytonYeung thank you!
