Is the 3070 good if you want to run 240 cap with no drops??

If you plan on running performance mode with lowest settings, it can run about 200ish depending on your cpu. You can get a stable 240 with a 7 series (Ryzen or Intel) cpu, as well as some fps optimizations.

I have a laptop and use different display and low graphics for more fps and higher performance and I was wondering if I buy a monitor that will boost my fps or maybe buy a pc and my laptop will act as my monitor but idk which is the better option for more fps

And as for right now I have a acer nitro 5 core i5 and in game I get around 40-100 fps and in creative the highest is around 150

Stupid question Ryzen 5 or 7

It really depends actually. Most games don’t use 8 cores, so if you’re strictly gaming, a Ryzen 5 might suit your needs better, however if you also plan to edit videos, and do other things, a 7 might be better.
