My favorite experience with this song was walking through my college campus listening to this with my headphones in. The vibe of this song while I was walking through all those people, seeing their lips talking and the expressions on this face, was a trip haha.
I also got past the vibe of it and love listening to it whenever now

This is my favorite Radiohead song but it wouldn’t have been at his age. I think to fully connect w a lot of Radiohead’s stuff you have to go through some of life’s experiences. Comes w age. 🤙🏻

So there is a lost, unpublished, video of his reaction to Jigsaw. It was an early test run where the sound didn't work out. His reaction at the time was not great... but now that time has passed and he is starting to get it, it may be time to try again

It’s very difficult for me to choose my “favourite” song or songs, but from what I’ve heard throughout my life, this might just actually be the best ever written.
As for The Smile (I don’t agree necessarily that the album sounds like Hail To The Theif) I would recommend a few, but mainly “You Will Never Work In Television Again”
It does come as a bit of a surprise to me that you haven’t heard the album. Personally, since I live Radiohead so much, I waited in anticipation for months, listening to every single they released on repeat. I honestly couldn’t say how many times I’ve heard the album. I’m scared to know.

@@the15thfloor71 Keep up the good work. Fathers should educate their children about the finer things in life. I have (3) kids and my youngest is about your son's age. She is the only child of mine who has developed a love for Radiohead. When that happens, it's a beautiful thing. I think he's seeing the light.

@@killapositionz2 Scatterbrain is often overlooked because of its AWFUL track placement, being in-between Myxomatosis and A Wolf at the Door is quite possibly the worst spot it could have been placed in the album, it makes no sense at all, though I might have some bias towards this song cause A: it was my first Radiohead song, and B: I connect with the lyrics on a personal level.

  • @Ashtoni001

I absolutely wish to echo every single gushing word you’ve said about this track. Admittedly I had this down as a contender for your favourite track.
The only thing I would like to add is that I break out in goosebumps at 10:56 (in this video) where the strings pull back to allow Thoms voice to soar alone for a second before coming back in.
Honestly, I know I’ve previously recommended tracks from The Smile, however I love every track. Although having a Radiohead sound, they have a different dynamic brought about by having fewer members and a different style of drummer.

ALFAA is alot like HTTT, it feels like a masterful hodgepodge of Radiohead sounds all remixed into a messy, all over the place album that not only concludes the last era of Radiohead, but also sets up the future of the band.
