Didn't even know there was such a thing as weld thru primer...thats so cool...and it preserves the integrity of the car. One of the best things about Porsches is their rust resistance due to the extensive primer bath they go through
Porsche certainly did do great job on corroision protection. With the weld-thru primer we can help insure that the protection is still intact. Thank you very much for watching!
Always learning something new when I watch your videos - class act with that paint 👍 T-rex inspecting your tool box at 9:52 😎 Someone has to keep you in line!
Hey Rex, FANTASTIC WORK!!!!! I know I inquired before, But what happened to your Nissan GTR build??? I REALLY enjoyed watching that But I never saw the final video???
Thank you! It has been put on the back burner while I get these clients race cars done. The pro cars are always on a deadline and sadly my personal cars have to wait. Thank you for watching and your patience on the GTR.
@@RebuildRex Ya, where's the GTR? LOL, thanks for this series. And I'm pretty happy to see him on the toolbox on the first viewing! Really enjoy these, keep 'em coming.
You guys are amazing! Lots of manual labor and craftsmanship! Is repairing these wrecked vehicles the majority of your work or is it a split between race car repair and repainting?
This is a a clients car so I’m not sure I should share the cost of the repairs. I can tell you that if you do all the work yourself you should be in it for 3/4 the value of the car depending on how good of a deal you get on the damaged car. Thank you for watching!
In this case we weighed all of the options and repairing made the most financial sense. Being a race car it has more value than a normal street car. Thank you for watching!

I really gotta get that GTR done!! Great job finding the T-Rex 🦖! Thanks for watching!!!

Is repairing these wrecked vehicles the majority of your work or is it a split between race car repair and repainting?
Thank you! Repairing and painting race cars is the majority of what we do. At least until we get rich and famous from TH-cam! 😉
Could you reveal the total repair cost? I'm curious bc I'm thinking about getting a wrecked one to rebuild as a project car. Thanks

Did this work make financial sense? Did it cost more than 50% the value of the car?

@@RebuildRex thank you for responding! Enjoyed watching this series!
