I've been keeping my leaf blower by the front door to blow the snow off the porch. I thought it was cuz I'm a wimp - didn't realize I'm officially cool because Thub does it too!
The portable snowblower is EPIC man! That’s some serious Red Green problem solving. If they don’t find you handsome, they should at least find you handy 😂 Stay warm out there!
Say what you will, I love these treasures hunting, dumpster diving adventure videos 🥰 especially now while I'm stuck inside and my shop is too full for me to go find my own scores.❤ keep doin the thing
Man I wanna do this for a living! I bring stuff home all the time when I see stuff sitting out on the side of the road. I've found so many good things that people throw away! I've picked up tvs and washer and dryers and fridges and widow units that had a simple fix to them. My wife doesn't like all the stuff laying around but I can't help myself. I've made hundreds of dollars on stuff I've fixed from the trash people throw out. Most younger people just trash good stuff and buy new ones. I like the week after Christmas because a lot of electronics go to the road for trash pick-up with mostly minor things wrong that is easily fixed!
Hi mister!! I missing your videos marathons "scrap with me" its so relaxing and make company while im scraping at home.love your videos and follow you many years ago.Cheers from Canary islands ❤good job mate
Fun Video! Would love to see a future video on how to remove the silver contacts from the copper. I know it isnt easy but who better to try it then you lol! Maybe when it warms up here, too cold
The DeWalt might just need a new on/off switch. The sanders, vacuum, and one other tool had subpar switchs. Swapping out a $4 switch could gain you a $150 tool
Heya, as a bit of a sculptor (and scrounging aluminum and copper for al/brass), I find myself wondering whether it might be more beneficial to melt the copper and brass into clean bars before selling. Not with propane of course, perhaps a forced air oil burner instead. Of course, I would never sell those metals, but thinking more of your bottom line. Namely, you could even melt the brass fittings as is and just scoop out any iron before pouring. Anyways, always a pleasure to watch you work! ✊🏻🖤
It was mentioned before that scrap yards are very apprehensive of buying self-pored bars because they don't know the level on contaminants in them. And there is no way to prove it
Yo THUB you might have to make a little insulative jacket for that go pro! I wonder if you put one of those hand warmers that heat up when exposed to air by it if that would help?
Elk, those were images of Elk not Moose. Pointy antlers vs paddle shaped antlers. As a fellow Canadian I cannot help but to politely point that out. Thank you and love the channel !
Very interesting about the vhs heads, did not know this, good thing i saved them intact somewhere, will have to process them when i run across my stash oneday.nice load of brass in that box. What do you call the little black and yellow block you were hammering the pins out of? That's why i save my steel rods to use as punches sometimes.great progress in the shed!
You answered a question for me yesterday I think, about tanning beds and the transformer’s. I’ve broken six apart today it a short time. Four lbs apiece. What about the what I call them capacitors? Are they worth anything?
I seen where you found some silver contacts and was wanting to ask you what is the best thing to do with them because I have stashed quite a pile of them
I’m still just saving mine up, the problem is they aren’t pure silver so if you just try to melt them into a bar you risk poisoning with cadmium fumes which are way more serious than zinc, plus it won’t be a real bar. My intent is to set up a silver electrolysis cell and capture the pure silver that way, I just haven’t gone about getting the right chemicals to do it yet
Ha! I just saw the secret weapon and was thinking the same thing! except was thinking if it'd be possible to possibly run an air compressor and use the blower gun attatchment. Might be too much.. plus my alternator isn't doing good and I don't have a proper inverter,, is an invertor i suppose but looks just like a surgeprotector.. would use my smaller compressry though, might give it a shot!
The compressor actually sounds like a great addition, I doubt it would use much power since most of the time the air tank would just be pressurized and ready
Question? How come you don’t save the brass prongs on the plugs instead off just tossing them. They add up fast. Also how’s that video game collection going?
They do, I just didn’t expect to deliver it without breaking it down. In hindsight I could’ve just smacked it on the ground and that would’ve been fine but my thought process went “Aluminium!>Not aluminium?>don’t want it”
It’s a 1500w but I would caution anyone who wanted to use a snowblower, the wires got pretty hot and a little smoky when I did my whole walkway at home lol

Lolll! I love using the leaf blower when I can get away with it, doesn’t work on every snowfall but I’m 100% for being lazy when you can!

Here i was gonna suggest a leaf blower then you bust out the secret weapon😂😂😂😂
This pleases me - back to old skool Thub vids
I expect to do a lot of these! I do have a bunch of others planned though so bear with me as I make it through my list 👍
Here in Philadelphia, I find the snow days are the best pickings. Less competition!!! Keep on Scraping 😅
Nice, I’ll keep that in mind for when it snows again here (VA). ✊🏻🖤
Haha... love it! And love the "totaly not gonna eat it... maybe"! Thanks for another scrap-adventure!
Same here I was scraping in snow the other day I love looking for stuff lol
Commenting before watch. Predicting a decent score of copper and Thub having a wonderful Sunday this weekend.

Sorry about how cold it was and you never complained once. Awesome!
a true dumpster diver!
Cheers
Have a nice weekend
Haha, snow blower, you sir are a pro!
This is the jam that got me into your channel
We banging in the snow too, lol on the leaf blower great vid my friend.
Thub Life ✌️
Secret weapon! Got a laugh out of me. This is some Bougey trashpickin'. Felt almost as cold this week as last week out there.
Love the snow blower. At first thought it was a heater. Silly me.😊
Awesome episode brother
It's a good thing you didn't break your windows have a bless day
Happy new year… thanks for the fun videos!
All kinds of fun. Awesome video my friend!

In these Winter days you should Grab almost all Metals you can. Cause it's not much at the cold days.
Leave it better than you found it!😊
Hi thub I love your videos hope you find good junk for money and stay warm :)
Great video my friend
Love your content! Stay warm out there

I'm glad it doesn't snow here sometimes, I couldn't handle dealing with it. Last night I picked up 5 large appliances from dumpsters
It’s tough with a couple inches of snow covering. Still did better than me this week.
Trash Pandas Unite!
Hey soon you will be scrapping pure ev's as hybrids are the way to go! Blessings. Look forward to the day you do a video on that scrapping an ev.
Caution😮: When you open bin doors on end, make sure door doesn't swing by itself or in wind & damage something, especially a car.
This is why gas blowers are so much better, might take a minute to warm up tho
Can you do a video on buying eletric motors and scrapping them for profit???
Good old black duck tape will fix that hose on that shop vacuumed
I am glad to see you got your beard back 😊❤

@@jwrtech I get that. A shame really. Thanks for your response dude. ✊🏻
it's much nicer when you also show us how much money you make at the end of the day
It should snow more often, great to see you again 😂
❤️💙
Hey Thub. Ireland only recently brought in a return for bottles I just found 30c in the bin and thought of you
love your vids man!
Shaking/raking way snow is another reason he needs a picker stick. I reccomend Unger brand from Home Depot.

I've heard elk meat is really good but always wondered about moose meat.
@@steelisreal4313 I heard moose mousse is good for their fur 😂😂
moose meat is the best wild game I ever ate. Don't pass on a free moose steak if it's offered.
👍👍👍
Good, that you don't Hit ya car with scrap 😂😂

I can't find a link to any shirts or anything you sell, are they still for sale?
You answered a question for me yesterday I think, about tanning beds and the transformer’s. I’ve broken six apart today it a short time. Four lbs apiece. What about the what I call them capacitors? Are they worth anything?
They aren't worth much, but on the plus side, they can kill you.
I seen where you found some silver contacts and was wanting to ask you what is the best thing to do with them because I have stashed quite a pile of them

@@thubprint that would be really cool to be able to do that. It would also be a really cool video. Hint hint
I recommend ugreen chargers

Not worth it, takes about 250 plug ends for a pound. Each plug end is worth 1/2 cent
they do not add up fast and they are killer on the wrist.
Hey Thub! Was just wondering, does your yard not take shred like this mop? 1:08
They do, I just didn’t expect to deliver it without breaking it down. In hindsight I could’ve just smacked it on the ground and that would’ve been fine but my thought process went “Aluminium!>Not aluminium?>don’t want it”
For not supporting Nestlè you deserve all the respect, my friend! Greetings from another boycotter from germany. ✌

You would've wasted your time anyways.
